Hi, I still exist. So does Johnny, I swear!
So, this summer I wanted to bring back a little thing we did a couple years ago
, where a group of students had a party, played some I Never, listed a bunch of things
they'd never done, and then spent the next week totally doing those things because of the personification of Irony running around.
That's right, the riff on Death finding ludicrous ways to make sure people die is back, and just like in that dumb film series, the sequel has to be bigger. So, while there will once again be a 6th Floor Common Room party on Saturday, June 27
where I Nevers will be compiled into a big list of prompts to inflict upon people, this time Irony can affect anyone
on the island, further reducing the accuracy of the word "Irony."
Last time, I Nevers included changing hair color, turning into animals, getting tattoos, being hung over, going to a strip club, and - OF COURSE - mooning the principal. How these things actually happened was up to the player, whether it was Fandom magic or peer pressure or just feeling like Zoe needed to see their butts. They might be magically influenced or it might just sound like a good idea when someone else suggests it. The important thing is that if they hadn't done one of those things, for the following week they were suddenly likely to do it for some reason.
The same rules apply this time, only wider. If your teacher or townie has never mooned Zoe, well, maybe you'll have a prompt to do so. It seemed like a good idea at the time! And maybe a dog stole your pants.
The party will go up (early, for SP) on the 27th, the list of I Nevers will be posted the morning of the 28th, and then the spirit of Irony will influence things through the end of July 4th. So hopefully nobody says they've never shot off fireworks in the nude because that could end poorly.
The only restrictions are 1) no "I never murdered someone in this room" or anything like that because of course, 2) the party itself is limited to students, and 3) Irony will only influence people who have NEVER DONE THAT THING THAT IS BEING DONE. If somebody chooses to moon Zoe completely of their own free will, that's their own fault.
