The return of Three Minute Dates!

*looks at calendar* Hey, you know what we haven't done in a while? Three Minute Dates at Caritas. Good thing, then, that on Saturday, August 16, we're going to be doing EXACTLY THAT.

This time around, the lovely and talented Jaye Tyler will be hosting the event where a bunch of people sign up and get paired with five different individuals in a desperate attempt to find true love, someone to have a good time with, or just plain find themselves forced into interaction with strangers. Whatever works for you. Each date takes three minutes or, in game terms, approximately ten comments (five for either person in the pair).

Adults and teens are both welcome to sign up, although teachers and students will NOT be paired up because that would be creepy. Adult townies and students are another matter entirely. It's still potentially creepy depending on the age difference, but at least it's not likely to get anyone fired. A strong effort will be made to match people based on their sexual preference, but no promises can be made because the male to female ratio is usually completely skewed.

So, if you're interested, please leave a comment to this post with your character's name and sexual preference. Comments shall be screened unless somebody has a question. Those will be unscreened as I answer them. Signups will be open until Wednesday, August 13, giving you nearly two weeks to join us. I do ask, though, that if you sign up only to discover that you won't be around to play out five separate short dates on the 16th, please let me know by the afternoon of the 15th (Central Time) at the latest if at all possible. That will still give me a little time to tweak the schedule at the last minute.

Thank you!

ETA: I kind of love it when this happens. Enough awesome people signed up after this call that, um, the ratio tipped over again. SO. Teens who like girls, the cookies are available to you now. Townies (specifically females) who like guys, cookies are still up for you because otherwise the whole thing ends up spiraling into insanity. (Trust me, I've done preliminary matching for the adults. It gets nuts.)

Thanks again. You guys rule.
