Angel Plot: Fandom Town folks

Angel asked me to take point on organizing the in town/on campus activities for the plot since Veronica is one of the few people who actually knows in game what's going on at the moment.

I'm summarizing what I read here so we're all clear on what's happening and we can plan how we're going to make it happen on this post.


Saturday/Sunday

Paige attempts to heal Angel.

I'm thinking that the best way for Paige to find out is via Piper, who can find out from Veronica. I'm thinking an East Attic post at some point this evening. Maybe Paige can stop by to talk to her sister and Veronica can fill in both of them and Chloe at the same time.

As for other people finding out? Well, Veronica is going to stop by 238 today to get clean clothes for Angel & Cal, so she can tell John, who can make sure it's included on the broadcast tonight. Cordy, ping me on AIM and we can figure out something. Who else needs to know?

Alfred attempts to cure Angel.

My understanding is that somehow Giles finds out that Angel has been poisoned and relays this information to Alfred, who offers assistance. Since the news didn't make the radio broadcast, we need to figure out a way for Giles to find out what's going on.

Cordy and Veronica convince Giles to help

*practices head tilt*

Giles diagnoses the problem and everyone scrambles for a solution. I'm not sure how the England group is supposed to find out about this. Anyone? Anyone?

Piper, Paige & Phoebe research magical cures.
Veronica & Chloe break into the library to research in Special Collections and get caught by Janet, who helps. Anyone else want to join this adventure?


Beyond that... I don't know what's happening. I know that Angel would like a multi-fandom solution, somehow involving Charmed canon (which is being researched OOG to see what we can find that may be applicable).

So... let's plot!

OH... and as I was up until 4am last night and 2am the night before that, I may have screwed something up or missed something, so please don't hesitate to tell me!!!!!

All the Paige related stuff works fine for me, as I've said before I'm only online til 8.30pm EST but that gives me a while after her dentention to go to the attic, which she's planning anyway cos she needs her sisters bless her.

Charmed canon -- Bel can bring in a demon alchemist to try to change Angel's blood. He'd risk it because of teh guilt, oh teh guilt.

The Po3 is needed to vanquish the alchemist, but I'm also looking for some sort of canon for poisoning that doesn't involve a whitelighter healing a human.

I was gonna jump in the other thread, but I spotted it too late yesterday. Hope it's okay I jump in here.

I'm not really familiar with Charmed or how a demon alchemist works, but if you need a less demonic alchemist, I'd be willing to throw Al into the play. He'd probably be hesitant to try to do something like change blood, but Angel isn't exactly human, so the results might be a little different. *shrug* If it works out for you guys, that is. Either way is fine by me.

I thought Cordelia was going to go running to Giles, dragging Veronica with her, who would ultimately convince Giles to help via the Head Tilt O' Doom (TM).

We've established that both Alfred and Giles are Londoners. They had an abbreviated conversation early on. Alfred could come back by looking for a book, to chat, to whatever. He'll see Giles with intent steaming out his ears, and offer to help.

Works for me. Alfred is very cranky after a prolonged, painful visit to the Wayne Corp board of directors and is having Wadsworth open up the restaurant, so it could concievably happen at any time during the day.

We just need to (a) have Cordy find out what's going on and (b) have V find out it was some kind of poison (which she will find out today I believe since Nat ran a tox screen last night).

Might be something that can be tried while Bel is trying to find a demon alchemist... have to see what Angel's player thinks... but I'm thinking the more, the merrier and I know she wants lots of cross fandom interaction.

Sure thing. Al's attempt doesn't have to work (canon-wise it shouldn't, but there aren't any vampires in the FMA-verse, so a few things can be twisted around), but instead get a rebound. And from there it can be decided that an alchemist of a different kind will be needed, or whatever else you guys come up with.

Lana can get a meteor based serum back home that revitalizes dead cells to maybe help slow the spread of the poison.

Ah, I'm a little hazy on the early eps :/ *carries on looking* I did plan on Paige not really being here for Spring Break though so if it would put Paige in some sort of coma that'd work for me. Cos it'd be easier to heal her than Angel wouldn't it?

My feeling is the more fandoms the merrier. Maybe Bel brings up the idea of a demon alchemist but, for whatever reason, can't get his hands on one (maybe b/c he's a good guy now? Oh angst!!) So Al would then be needed.

This would also explain why the attempt doesn't work 100% and thus needs something else to boost it. Enter in the other folks who are helping =)

I'm going to tell the UK folks that I'd love for part of the solution to include something from Diagon or Knockturn Alley. That way we can have a moment of the solution requiring both teams to come together =)

Okay, so I'm a bit late with jumping on the plot train...

FH canon-wise, Isabel has already established that healing is not her thing. But she can research if needed, and don't forget her ability to get into people's dreams. It's easiest if a picture is used, but she can get into someone's dreams when she's awake, it just takes a bit more concentration. So if Angel feels like throwing a bad dream into the mix, she's available for calming purposes. Otherwise, tell me what to do.

Yep! There may have to be some very heavy convincing on someone else's part to get Al to try, since it could fall into the 'human transmutation' catagory (Okay, we know Angel's a vamp, but IGly nobody would really know the results, human or not), and the last time he and his brother attempted one of those, the rebound was huge and not at all pretty. Maybe a little bit of peer pressure, 'cause he has fallen for some 'go on, do it' situations during the series. As long as he knows nothing especially too drastic will happen, he'll try, at least.

I like this idea. Because Cordy & Angel didn't really figure out the significance of the vision yesterday, the Powers send her another one to get off her ass.

She just thinks that Darla was trying to stake Angel, not poison him. So if that makes sense, Cordy can have a vision telling her to go to V today.
