Curing the vamp - home stretch!
Things are still on track to get Angel cured tomorrow. So... probably 'bout time we actually figured out how we're doing that, huh?
Known:
At some point tomorrow Janet's got to take the Chosen One blood and mix it with the beozor and the unicorn shavings.
Don't know:
Are any of the Halliwells still going to recite a spell to go along with this? If so, when and how?
Known:
The final part of the cure is Angel drinking the CO cocktail. He's going to fight this because he doesn't want to drink human blood. Ultimately Logan will be the one who gets him to drink it.
Unknown:
Who gets tickets for a ringside view of this moment. Understandably a few folks will want to be there but I don't know player schedule and character inclination (some may not want to watch what could be Angel's dying moments).
What I can say is that Angel is going to be freaking out hardcore, and that this is not a moment he'll want a huge audience for. So to start with we're looking at a very small number of people. On top of that, depending on how the scene goes, Angel may not drink with an audience at all. In which case Logan may kick y'all out.
Also, Logan is going to be the one who convinces him. I know others may want to, but trust me when I say I've got good reason for insisting on this. So when the time comes please let him do his thing. Your patience shall be rewarded.
Tomorrow we'll all get on AIM so we can co-ordinate there. I just wanted to give this heads-up OOC so those involved would know it's nothing personal against them or their characters. It's Angel's magazine racks full of issues, plus some plot points to be named later.
Known:
Angel's going to be in the home stretch of dying tomorrow. Expect him to be in a great deal of pain and refusing food and pain meds. You might get him to drink some pig's blood before the main event, but dose him with pain meds and I'll kill you in your sleep.
Unknown:
How strong he'll be after the cure. On the one hand he was at about 1000% after drinking Buffy's blood, but OTOH we're jerry-rigging a cure here so I can see an argument for him at least needing a few days to fully recover. I may end up going with something in the middle: he can check out of FTEC on Saturday, but don't expect to see him at the gym or large with the endurance until the week's end.
We'll see.
So, other than that, let's make some unknowns known: are we still doing a spell? When's everyone getting together? Who are the small few who get to be in Angel's room to start with? Anything else that I've forgotten?
And... go! =)

Quick answer: Anyone want to add a spell? I'll put Janet in her room early in the a.m. tomorrow for them to stop by and ask. She'll be in the clinic most of the day, though.
I'm going to want Janet there for obvious reasons. :) She's going to want less-rather-than-more people so Angel doesn't overtax himself. Obviously, the plot comes first. Just saying--doctory stuff.
Sleeping now. Will check tomorrow and probably have more coherent commentary when the codeine cough syrup wears off.

She may still need to be kicked out with everyone else if it goes that way, but if that happens she can hang out on the other side of the door and come in as soon as it's done.

If you want her around, she'll be there. If you think it's better if she's not, that's fine. Just let me know :)

Though it would prove whether or not UST is strong enough to cure Angel.
Hmm - maybe if you two fought again? This time using oil? 8)

Again don't know if she'd need to be amongst those kicked out (or if anyone is) so we can play that by ear.

Also, she will be one of the people that doesn't want to be in the room when he drinks. She feels that it's a private thing that doesn't need an audience. yay for the empath's reasoning skills. Plus, she couldn't take seeing first-hand if everything they did doesn't work. :)

Okay then, since Angel's got a good likelihood of needing everybody to be cleared out, and since Logan's going to want that too, I say let's make that the plan.
In which case I'll ask Cal who we need to have nearby to drag her and lock her in a closet ;)

I'm not sure yet how strong Angel's going to be once he's taken the cure, so maybe hold off on bringing Sean just in case he's not up for puppy-sitting?
But John can def. be there to start. So long as he's fine with getting kicked out when Logan does his thing.

And the kicking out is fine, and not unexpected (as I told you). The level of hovering she'll be doing outside the door will be pretty insanely bad, though.

and the new perm John gave him.And he'll understand getting kicked out. He knows that Angel doesn't want anyone to give something for him since he thinks he deserves to die...WHICH HE DOES NOT. *g*

Okay, I think that'll cap the number of people who can be in the room to start with. Anybody else can hover in the clinic.
