Rather than having a bunch of individual posts cluttering the flist, here is the post where you can ping into either search out someone to play a character for you, or where you can advertise to play for people. Just consider it the PW classifieds.

Er, that would be me saying I volunteer. Not that I've put all the relevant Voyager discs at the top of my Netflix queue already for screencapping and refresher purposes or anything.

Ah, the trouble with lesser known fandoms. :) I'm hopefully looking for someone with either a passing acquaintance with any version of W.I.T.C.H. -- or a willingness to learn about a new series -- to play one of Will's parents. I can provide (Philippines) English-language scans of the appropriate chapters, if need be.

I know the first, uh, 4 chapters of WITCH - Elyon as queen, problems in guardian world and the first part of the evil old guardian lady (omg slashy!). I don't have the comics here with me, but I can probably fetch them in time for Parent weekend.

I have the convenience of both my student characters being basically orphans. Hehe.

However, it's concievable that two guardians could show up for Setsuna. If anyone's familiar with/wants a crash course on Negima! stuff, an Eishun Konoe (the leader of the Kansai Magic Association) would be fun.

But the real crack infused dip into the Akamatsu-verse that would be nuts would be if anyone's familiar with Love Hina canon can provide a Motoko Aoyama. XD

HumHum. I know Motoko WELL. And I know 5 books worth of Negima, so... I know the old guy is just... sorta nice? but has a secret agenda. But I'd be WAY better at Motoko. That weekend I'll be at home so I'd need a bit of time to drive to and from and let my family and such see me. If that's okay with you I'd be happy to.

Well, since Sarah Connor is retired, John doesn't have any parentals, as his dad is dead. Or possibly not born yet. Ow, the cyclical.

On the off chance that someone here is a big comic book dork like me, I'll ask if anyone could play Teddy's long lost from-an-alternate-dimension sister, Phyla-Vell.

Or, since she's a crazy obscure character, anyone could play Captain America.

While GI Joe in general isn't a fandom I'm very familar with I do know a fair bit about Duke, but when it comes to fandoms I can learn stuff pretty quick and I can learn enough by parents weekend so I'm pretty much volunteering to play Duke, if you want.

There's a pack of comics dorks around, but this one doesn't know Phylla-Vell. If no one else steps forward for her, I volunteer for Captain America, though. I guess I can be your last resort. :)
