We're Not Gonna Protest!

Except we totally should.

I haven't done much with Maureen since I brought her in game and part of that is because I haven't been able to come up with something cool for her to protest.

For those of you who don't know RENT, Maureen stages a protest during the show and ends up inciting a riot. She does a very cracked out performance art piece that I'd be happy to upload and link if you haven't heard or seen it.

Anyway, I still don't have any protest ideas, and I'm not going to want to do anything with this until after the first of the year, but I wanted to get an idea of who had characters that might be interested in some sort of protest-type plot so we can kick around some ideas either via email or on a filter.

So if you're interested, let me know!

Me.

On the show Angela gets passionate about free speech and censorship, and IG I had her protest hunting the teal deer and exterminating the gremlins.

If Schrodinger knew that a riot might result, he'd probably do something, but otherwise he probably wouldn't care. 'Cause he's evil.

I have absolutely no ideas how a vaguely conservative, military-mindset person like Janet could get involved with a protest. Maybe she's a witness to it starting, and sticks around if it looks like it's going to turn into a riot where someone's going to be injured?

Anyway, I'm interested, if we can work something out.

Blair will protest pretty much anything, so you know he's up for this. He's also got the Damn The Man Club if you want to utilize that group of people.

"These, Tom, are the Causeheads. They find a world-threatening issue and stick with it for about a week."

...we so need a Droz at FH.

Chad is so up for this.

Ooh, me! Zero has been involved in social activism from an early age. As in, her parents made her weetiny 'No More Nukes!' signs to carry to the rallies when she was a toddler.

Conner has had experience with protests before -- in that he attended one and pretended to care about it, just to impress a girl he wanted to hook up with. He's learned better since then, though; give him a good enough reason to care (i.e. an issue impacting people's safety) and he'll totally be there.

. . . here, have an icon with arms.

Considering Mac's vegan stance, I'm pretty sure she'd be up for a bit of protesting. Yup, count her in.

I think Billy could be persuaded :)

You might want to see if you can get one of the business owners in town to cooperate. Perhaps she's protest Giles' rejecting carrying Daniel Steele novels? Or Caritas not serving Eggnog year round? The Perk discriminates against tea drinkers? And it's Maureen so it gets out of control :). I dunno I'm just typing whatever pops into my head.

I completely missed this post omg!

But I'm pretty sure Liz is up for a for good protest :)
