Thanksgiving in Fandom

Last year we had a couple different things going on for Thanksgiving, and I haven't really seen mention of anything like that this year. Which means I decided to be a bit of a masochist and do one myself.


Jaye's supposed to go home for Thanksgiving, but I can totally make her not go, if she say, had to organize Thanksgiving dinner for anyone and everyone who might be sticking around town. This is open to anyone. Students, teachers, townies, whatever. Post will be going up on Wednesday for SP so people with plans don't miss out, or at least don't miss out too much. It's the holidays, people should be together during them. Even in RP. Dinner will be of course on Thursday FH time, preferrably in the cafeteria, just because I like the mental image.

And I completely realize people might have made other plans. Totally keep them if you want, or you can combine them with this. Anyone needing an IC invite/reason to come/reason to stay for the holidays can let me know here and I'll make it a point for Jaye to give you one. With animal involvement.

Plus if your character wants to come, they might be asked/told/harangued into bringing some sort of food item, since with Jaye in charge, dinner might consist of frozen pizza, Pop Tarts and whatever Halloween candy is left over.

Just as a thought, there will be a kidnapping plot going on during Thanksgiving during this time. I have no idea how this will affect you, but my understanding that there will be some heightened security and the news will be out.

I'm not sure any of my characters will be in. None of them celebrate Thanksgiving.

I'll be AFK but if there isn't a beagle showing up to make the traditional Thanksgiving feast of Popcorn, Toast and desserts? I'll be very disappointed.
