Lichenthrope plot this week

Just to prove that plots can come from anywhere, here's one that came about due to someone else seeing a closed captioning misspelling "lychanthrope." Why, yes, it's a crack plot.

So tomorrow Hermione will be out in the woods and get bitten by a lichen. Yes, a lichen. And yes, bitten. You might be able to see where I'm going with this.


When the bite is a persistent problem she's going to start researching, to find out that she's been bitten by a lichenthrope. Of course further help will be needed in researching and confirming that Hermione will turn into a lichenthrope herself at the next full moon, which happens to be Saturday, March 3. (Edit to clarify. It's actually a full lunar eclipse. Which in a weird way just adds something to me.)

The climax, which in my head happens Friday night, will involve volunteers running through the woods and spraying things with weed killer. Look, did I not say it was a crack plot?


This can involve as many people as many as it takes. Like I said, I'm going for crack, so people can just have fun with it. Comments, questions, volunteers?
