Hello everyone!

I wanted to give you a heads up about a plot occurring next Friday. There are a couple of ways your character can participate if you're so inclined. If you have a psychic character, or one with premonitions, please read this.

At 12:01 am on Friday the 13th, the Demon of Fear, Barbas, will be coming to Fandom.

His goal? To kill 13 unmarried witches before midnight so he can be released from hell to wreak havoc on the world all the time.

So, yes, this plot is primarily focusing on the witchy types in town.

However!

Given the magical nature of Fandom, Barbas's presence can have an effect on any character in the form of nightmares or hallucinations of their worst fear.

Those characters with premonitions or prophetic dreams are welcome to do their thing leading up to Friday the 13th.

If your character is a researchy type, they can also attempt to figure out what is going on in town once word of the attacks and everything else gets out.

Xander, while not by nature a researchy type, would want to know WTF was going on if Willow was in danger.

Naomi would be up for researching.

The same can be said about Giles -- err aside from the fact he is a researchy type. But his motivation would be especially strong if one of the Scoobies is in direct danger.

My question is why am I going to be out of town next Friday and thus unable to make my alien terrified and flaily?

I don't think so. But maybe. If we're coming back early Friday instead of late Friday. We shall see. I do so love opportunities for flailing.

So the fear thing takes the form of nightmares? Or can they be waking dreams like what happened this past summer?

Basically, your character can have nightmares or think they are seeing some manifestation of their worst fear.

For example: if your character had a deathly fear of spiders, they might have a nightmare about spiders or they might hallucinate that there are spiders all over their dorm floor. There will *not* be anything actually manifested; it will all be completely in their head, which means no one will be hurt and the dreams/hallucinations will be very easily broken.
