Crazy Phone Day!

In an accident to be revealed later, someone or something will cause the phone lines of Fandom to get crossed on Sunday, January 18th, meaning on that day any personal voice mail will be deposited in the wrong voice mail box. Or many voice mail boxes. Or really, in whatever voice mail box(es) you select.

Example: Zoe tries to leave a message for John about feeding the baby but instead it goes to Turtle, who freaks out and tries to call back because she is not babysitting, but her angry voice mail goes to Chuck Bass who doesn't know why some girl is yelling about a kid...or maybe he does. So he starts calling girls to hook up and random madness ensues. See?

As a favor to the radio squirrels and everyone reading along at home, please link back to where the message came from when you pass it along. It'll make life easier.

The last time we did this was June 2007, caused by one Jamie Madrox (whose post I have shamelessly stolen). Check out these examples if you're curious what it could look like!

Chad was...pregnant and had a lot of sex invites.
Dick dealt with GOB's doves and was invited to a threesome.
John Crichton didn't know what was going on.
Radio from last time in case you want to see more!

Questions? Comments?

ETA: This event is open to alumni and expatriates who are using the Fandom network to place cross-dimensional calls to other Fandom/ex-Fandom people.

So the really creepy part? I'm sitting at work, staring blankly at the computer as it freezes in the middle of something I'd rather it didn't and I think to myself "Self, you know what would be cool?" "If this computer didn't crash every time you breathed on it wrong?" "Well, yes. But also? Remember all the phone wackiness at Fandom High? I think we're about due for that again, won't it be fun?" And then the computer unfroze.

Chuck Bass knows nothing about any kids whatsoever.

Just saying.

Might alums be affected as well? They use Fandom's network to call cross-dimensions. And/or calls from/to Fandom could go astray.

Yes, this can certainly cross over to alums/expats who are trying to reach Fandom/ex-Fandom people. *goes to edit post*

YAY!

...it's probably sad that I'm considering staying home on Sunday just so I can play, right?

Never! *will totally not be doing the same*
