Vampires and the cures that love them

Just to keep everyone in the loop: the alchemy part of the cure will be done tomorrow. I believe everything else is being done on Friday.

It occured to me that if Angel keeps having total improvements with each part of the cure he'd simply fight even harder to not drink human blood. So what I'm going to do is say that, like Alfred with the antitoxin, it will take a symptom away (In Alfred's case, the broody coma) but it will not give him a wholesale improvement.

Also the symptoms that remain will continue to get worse until Friday.

I'm still deciding which symptom and may not figure that out until I see the alchemy in action, but just to give y'all the heads up that that's how it's going to go. He'll get an improvement of a sort, but there'll still be a downward spiral that makes it clear this poison will kill him if he doesn't take the cure.

I probably sound slightly stupid saying this, but it's occured to me that a few people aren't all that familiar with FMA canon or how alchemy works in that 'verse. Slipped my mind that oh, hey, y'know, there's actually different variations of this stuff out there. 'Cause I'm pretty sure a demon alchemist from Charmed isn't gonna operate the same way as one from FMA.

I bring this up because I recall someone bringing up about alchemy being mystical in a sense (which is true, in most cases), but it hardly works in a magical sense with FMA (and yeah, it's realistically impossible, buuut...). I don't want anyone to become super confused or anything with Al (or even Ed, too), so should I fill those who are kind of wondering in, or is everyone fine?

Okay, great. I was starting to get a little flaily-spazzy about if others began to think that Al's version of alchemy was the mysticalmagical kind you normally see, rather than the 'my fandom teachers more chemistry than YOURS!' kind.

They're kind of similar, actually, but the way alchemists work between fandoms, I've noticed, are reeeeally different. Hence flaily-spazzy.

Yay, all sorts of awesome :D So I won't worry too much about that, then.

Actually, I don't know, either. Bel & I are still doing our thread and I've got no idea when it'll be finished, but hopefully soon. If it happens tonight or tomorrow doesn't matter, but if tomorrow it'd have to be in the evening, if that's okay with you. Really sorry if things are being thrown off track or what-not. But I can definitely say that if it has to be done tomorrow night, it can be done, since I'm sure it wouldn't take any longer than about an hour or so to do (ish), and we'd be finished with the thread by then.

Angel doesn't -have- to be awake, but it would probably work out more if you were around to post his reactions and stuff (if Angel being asleep means the same for you :P).
