So. Rory and Anakin have been together since the end of December.

It's been a secret because Anakin would be oh-so-screwed if the Jedi found out.

Ahem. Guess who's coming to guest lecture at ACJ?

If you thought "Obi-Wan Kenobi", give yourself a cookie.

Obi-Wan will be here beginning Thursday, April 14 and going home on Saturday. He's here only to explain the Jedi's view of Justice! in a way that isn't quite as creepy as Anakin's viewpoint can occasionally be.

But Anakin doesn't know that. Cue the Padawan freak-out.

But why I am telling you this? Because while the danger of Obi-Wan finding out about Anakin/Rory is what makes this fun, if a character with direct knowledge of there actually being a relationship (more than just rumors from the radio, say), tells Obi-Wan, it's game over for Anakin. Obi-Wan can deny and avoid and repress something based entirely on speculation (see also: Episodes II and III, all of), but if he's told straight out that it's happening, the only response for him would be to drag Anakin back to Coruscant and expel him from the Order.

And I'd rather that not happen. You know, at all.

Rory-mun has kept an OCD list of everyone in the game we think either knows or suspects about Anakin and Rory, whether or not Anakin and Rory know it.

If you think your character should be on it, please let us know, and let us know why. If you think your character would have an IC reason to approach Obi-Wan about this particular issue, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know.

If you want your character to have a run-in with Obi-Wan for reasons other than OMG Obi-Wan!, let me know that, too. I'm trying to keep him contained to interacting with the ACJ class and then a Dinner of Awkwardness with Rory and Anakin, but if you have the Greatest Idea Ever, I'm open :)

Leading up to Obi-Wan coming, if you're a character that conclusively knows about Anakin and Rory, expect them to come to you asking to run interference. Anyone with a character who suspects about Anakin/Rory and wants to play out messing with them and threatening to tell Obi-Wan, drop me a line, too. We'll see what we can work out.

Marty has no idea about Rory/Anakin.

However I do not want to pass up another chance to make another Kenny Loggins reference.

*snerk* Sam has no reason whatsoever to tell Obi-Wan anything, and would be willing to help run interference or give plausible deniability to any situations that might arise. Feel free to use her to your heart's content to provide ~~a lame cover story~~ an alibi.

I'd totally offer Aeryn up to run interference cuz let's face it, she knows how the situation goes, but neither of you knows she knows! *g*

Actually, if needed she can still shut people up, just not with someone asking her to. (See "ZOMG shut up drunk!Lee" as an example.)

More than happy to help run interference. Though we should chat in email about when we're going to do the thing with the stuff. 8)

Peter will run interference and Tick will... well, he'll avoid saying anything. He respects Obi-Wan too much to lie to him. But he'll keep it all business. :)

Isabel has only the barest idea of who Obi-Wan is and maybe a vague suspicion that Rory really, really cares about Anakin given her reaction when his phone went out during study group. That being said she would have no desire to see Anakin in trouble and would gladly help with any interference that needed to be run. She knows all about covering for stuff.

Veronica suspects because (a) Logan told her about finding them in bed together and (b) she got a misdirected phone message that implied there was something going on.

Don't think she'd be inclined to do anything about her suspicions because she doesn't have any issues with Rory or Anakin, but since she is in ACJ, I figured I'd throw that out there.

I would *love* to have Lorelai run into them all though :)

Also, you know Parker can't resist flirting with Obi-Wan, even if it's with a lot less intent than previously, due to having a serious guy now. So I'd love any time to mess with his head that Parker can dish out.

Just checked the OCD list (not sure why)
and saw Paige was on the 'should suspect something' list but given her past and being the subject of gossip herself even if it were to come up she'd not say anything either aluding to a relationship or confirming it.

I think Bel only knows from the radio rumors, but he'd just love to get Anakin in trouble. *innocent look*

Heh...I know our characters are kinda not on good terms and all, but with the radio lately pimping a Rory/Victor OTP it'd be amusing if Anakin deflected any inquiries by saying that Rory's dating Victor. And Victor would probably go along with it if asked, too, because he's tired of fighting with Rory and he'd think that if he did this she'd probably think better of him. Not sure if it's in Anakin's character to ask him to do something like that, though.

I have the bestest plot idea ever.

It involves two rolls of duct tape, three feet of rubber tubing, a bucket of water, and three lives eels.

I have nothing for D'anna to add but obligatory hallway leering at Obi-Wan, however, this sounds like you're going to have a ton of fun! Can't wait to see it play out. :D

I don't think Alanna has anything here, however, this sounds like it'll be an awesome plot-line and I'll be in the peanut gallery, giggling like a maniac.

And I'll stop lurking and reading everyone's thoughts and toss in one of my own:

I think that maybe for those of you who have no idea that R&A are together, we can still use you if you're really set on being in the plot.

Rory's MO when freaking out is to grab what she can and use it. So really, if you happen to be nearby when she's having a minor panic attack, she may randomly engage you in conversation or something...and then never explain what her problem is.

So drop me a line if you want to be integrated, and I can definitely find something on the Rory end of things.

Where are you planning to have the dinner of ultimate awkwardness? Because if it's Cafe Fina, Alfred will, if not know, probably figure it out. Because, ya know, while not being omniscient, he makes it seem that way sometimes.

He won't actually say anything, 'cause he is the very picture of discretion. But considering that Wadsworth is a blackmailing bastard... well, nothing need come of it. But it might be fun if Wadsworth were to, ya know, scheme a bit. Maybe try to unotrusively listen in.

I dunno. Just an idea.

Cal thinks Rorykin is cute, regardless of whether or not she's actually right to suspect them, so she'll gladly run interferance for them.

I don't think Giles can be of much help, but if whoever's playing him has time, I think Giles would have a hoot drinking with Obi Wan.
