Upcoming plottiness
Hey all.
The weekend of Aug. 5-6, there will be weirdness afoot in Fandom (And what else is new?) as people wake up believing themselves to be others in the Fandom community.
People participating in the plot will wake up Saturday morning believing they are another FH character. (This is open to students, teachers and townies.)
Cue mindswap wackiness. It's up to you whether your character believes they have the wrong mind in their body, or whether they see someone else when they look at themselves.
But the twist is, it's a delusion, not actual possession. Everyone can keep writing from their usual account and OOC behavior will be understood -- e.g., if Tyler thinks he's Willow, he'll act not as Willow actually acts, but as his *perception* of Willow acts.
I hope this will allow for all kinds of crazy interactions.
Participants get two choices. You can arrange who you will believe yourselves to be OOCly, or go for a semi-random assignment, picked by me.
If you pick the second choice, I won't be able to swap people around once they're matched up. However, you will get the assignments a week before the plot starts, so you'll have time to familiarize yourself with the character you'll think you are.
The random magic of Fandom causing this will last overnight Sunday, and everyone will be back to themselves (with memories of the weekend intact) by the time workshops start Monday.
