Science! related stuff

Alright! Time to take chances! Make mistakes! And get . . . volunteers!

The Science!, Biology, and Health classes will be taking a joint field trip to explore human anatomy. But because this is Ms Frizzle we're talking about, they aren't going to the anatomy museum. Which all of you should try to go to, as playing with plastic-wrapped lungs is fun. We need a volunteer to be our field trip destination. Anyone, really, will do. We can come up with a reason for it later.

EDIT: The field trip will be Oct 26.

I also need to know, from my Science! class if there are any students with birthdays on or around Dec 7. Thank you.

And finally, science fair!

The first Fandom High Science Fair will be open to ALL STUDENTS and it will take place December 14th during seventh period - that's the Thursday before exam week. No categories. Projects can be on any topic, but will require approval by one of the science teachers - Elliot-mun is on board, I'm waiting to hear from Billy-mun. Just to make sure we don't double up too much. Projects can be done singly or in pairs.

I ask that project ideas be submitted by the week after mid-term break. You can do this IC by coming to talk to the Friz during her office hours, which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Office hours also serve as an open lab period to work on your projects.

Um, I don't think I forgot anything . . .

Kvestions? As opposed to kvetching. But I'll take some of that, too.

Oh, Jack would totally volunteer for this...and is, as long as it's not happening before this weekend!

Then you can count him in if you want him!

Y'know... I'm kind of tempted to volunteer Marie because of the whole mutation factor... but I don't know how much canon info there is on mutant physiology.

'Sokay. :) Consider me on board; I'll announce the science fair in my next class.
