casting call! an epic tale of dragons and dungeonses

So, in two weeks (November 17-18 or 19), Nadia is going to have a plot going on, one that should be made entirely of cracky goodness and I would lovelovelove to get as many people involved as possible.

I like to call this plot "Nadia's Hallucinogenic Fantasy Adventure". Essentially, in order to fix Walter at the end of October, Nadia made an open ended promise to a mad scientist. On November 17th, that's going to come back and bite her in the ass. She'll be receiving a package including a chemical she'll get injected with and a device to activate said chemical.

This is supposed to turn her evil.

It doesn't work.

Instead, Nadia will fall asleep/pass out and wake up the next morning, fully and completely convinced that she is a lowly, orphaned resident of the kingdom of Fandom, with a special unknown destiny that she must go on a quest to fulfill.

Commence a generic fantasy adventure, filled with cliche characters and plot points. And this is where you all would come in.

Nadia is not going to see anyone or anything as they really are over the course of this plot. Everyone she meets she will see as some sort of generic fantasy novel character, ie. a dwarf, an elf, a warrior, a knight, etc. The school will become a castle to her, the town a medieval style village, filled with magic, Caritas will be a tavern, etc. No one else will see these things this way, but I would love to have some folks for Nadia to bounce off of, people who will either a) try to convince her she's wrong, b) follow her around to make sure she doesn't hurt herself until she manages to come out of her hallucinations, or c) play along. This could be as long or as short an interaction as you like. It could be no interaction and Nadia just won't be there while your character is there or doesn't see them. I'm flexible.

The real basic idea is to have what Nadia thinks your character is be as cracktastic as possible. We're talking thinking that the goofiest, silliest character is the wise old wizard, or that the tallest guys are all dwarves, that sort of thing. If you have a specific fantasy character type (no specific characters from any fantasy stories, please, we're talking archetypes here) that you'd like Nadia to think your character is, please let me know in the first thread. If you want Nadia to show up and think your character is something, but don't know or care what, use the second thread.

The things I absolutely want to include are

    - A wise advisor (we bounced around both Tex or Vader for this, someone who seriously wouldn't care or advise well at all. You don't have to be Tex or Vader to want this role, though). Nadia would be returning to this character once or twice for more advice along the way if they're not following her around. If no one volunteers, this character will be a giant marmoset or something out of Nadia's drugged up imagination

    - a pure warrior woman (Jack Harkness got mentioned for this one. Guys or girls who just plain aren't the pure type)

    - the basic fantasy party (opinions differ on what this is, but we're looking for a thiefish sort, a knight sort, a warrior sort, a wizard sort, a bard sort, a cleric sort, that stuff. Best would be five people, but any number will do)

    - a kidnapped princess (Dawn? This person totally doesn't have to end up even being involved, but if they are, that'd be fantastic. Essentially, someone for Nadia to go off to "rescue" despite them not being in need of rescue at all)

Anything else would be lovely, lovely gravy.

Nadia will also have a list of objects that she's looking for to lead her to the kidnapped princess and her destiny. These are all going to be Rambaldi artefacts in name, but random things in reality (like a tv remote, a cookie, a leaf, etc). These objects will eventually lead her to 47 Minotaur Lane, aka the former offices of Wolfram and Hart, to battle the evil badguy/combine the objects to receive her destiny/trip, fall, break something and snap out of it, either Saturday evening or sometime on Sunday, depending on how many people want in and what their availability is.

As I said, I'm flexible. None of this is set in stone. Any questions, comments, suggestions are TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY WELCOME. This plot is as open or closed as people want it to be. Any character, student, teacher, or townie, is welcome to participate. We're just looking to have a bit of fun. Thanks!

PS - Nadia will be fighting a windmill as part of this plot. Because that amuses me.
