I think it's going to be easier to do the signing up OOC and handwave it IC. Please don't have your characters mention it until I have Lorelai mention it in the game by way of a flyer or something.

I still haven't quite worked out all the details on how I'm going to match people -- I'll do that once I see who all signs up. Please just make sure you sign up in the right place!!

Another thing I wanted to mention. If you don't think your character would sign up ICly, but you want their roommate to force them or to 'surprise' them with a room makeover, that's okay as long as you sign up OOCly.

El and Pip both have roommates who are extremely MIA (Billy and Yondaime for El, Togusa for Pip). What's the call on that?

Have you tried emailing the players? If so, lemme poke the admins and ask for a ruling.
