MercCon Update!

Just a reminder that MercCon is next weekend!

If you're in the biz - or a person with reason to know and/or contacts in place to reasonably pass the information along (like the police!) - you can assume you've heard through the grapevine that MercCon has been set up for this year, and it's going to be in Fandom next weekend. This year's emcee will be one Beatrix Kiddo, and she has (handwavily) already called to book the arrangements with the hotel.

You still have time to app a mercenary, bounty hunter, assassin, or other covert ops member/hired gun - applications close on January 29th.

Hi! Sorry, I forgot there might be newbies and all between the announcement and the update. Insert facepalming here.

Anybody with a current in-game character can app a guest merc for the weekend, so you're more than welcome to. See here for the huge rambly infopost, and screened apps go here. (Screened in case anybody wants their guest character to be a surprise and all.) Apps close Jan. 29th, and the mods will let people know if everything's all clear between then and when the convention starts Friday night.

If you have more questions, please let me know, although I'm gonna be out most of today so I might be slow getting back to you. :)
