Ino's big psychic thing is that she can take over peoples minds. She needs to be able to see them to do this - though they don't have to see her. Literally wrenching her spirit from her body and implanting it in someone else's. It's a difficult technique to fight, as to beat it requires extraordinary determination and will, but it can be done.

As a side note: When Ino is in someone else's body, hers is left completely unprotected and any injuries inflicted on her temporary host will be transferred over to her real body.

She's also sensitive enough to notice spiritual upsets/broadcasts and such, though she can't see them--it's a vague feeling sort of thing.

Annnd thanks to canon elaborating--she's got the potential to learn telepathy, and how to walk through peoples minds. She doesn't know how to yet, but it'll probably be brought up at some point.
