Character Abilities Tally
Guess who gets to steal another post from Erin?
(Hint: It's me)
In an effort to keep things a little more organized for plottishness and so on, we're going to ask a quick favor of you all.
Could you please reply to each appropriate comment below, and let us know what kind of powers/abilities/etc your character possesses? This is for all characters - students/alumni, teachers and townies - and covers everything including especially good researching/support skills, magic, skill with weaponry, mutations and so on. This is mandatory for all characters, and we would appreciate it ASAP though there is no specific deadline.
Anything that is a canon power or ability of your character and could be used in a plot in some way, please list below in the correct thread. Temporary powers for specific plots do not need to be noted now.
Please be as thorough as possible, as this will help everyone out with plots and knowing who can fill what roles.

For a full list of who she can/can't read, go here (http://justwantsquiet.livejournal.com/1000.html#cutid4). Otherwise, she can't hear vampires no matter what, but most supernatural beings give her some trouble, and anyone with similar powers should be able to tell if she pokes around.

Touch-telepathy-wise, she has trouble blocking people out, but is pretty good at skimming surface thoughts (she's had this ability since she was about 12 or 13). She's never tried to go deeper than that with someone who is unhurt. But she's also done controlled dreamwalks about half-a-dozen times, and can take other people into the dreamer's mind.
Dinah's clairvoyant dreams are longstanding (she's had them since she was 9) but largely random; she has never had good control over them. They are detailed in terms of visual information, but not in terms of knowledge-- she is a witness to real events, not a seer with understanding or insight into what she is dreaming.
Dinah's TK is beginner-level but strong. She used to lose control when she lost her temper and send objects around her shaking; she's managed to conquer that. Her biggest problem is a lack of focus and confidence-- she gets distracted easily. Her TK works better in a crisis than it does every day because she's paying attention to what she's doing. She doesn't have a lot of stamina while using it yet, but should improve over time with practice; she's only had this ability about six months.

Sam has some demon blood in him, which gives him access to a host of abilities. Presently, the only power he knows of is his prophetic dreams and visions, but with practice, he's capable of (among other things) telekinesis, mind control, super strength, electrokinesis, and controlling demons with his braaain.

Jaina also has learned the more dark sidey things, like mind-wiping and the use of Force lighting (both of which just came WAY too easy to her, omg). She won't be doing this without a good reason, but she can.

As a side note: When Ino is in someone else's body, hers is left completely unprotected and any injuries inflicted on her temporary host will be transferred over to her real body.
She's also sensitive enough to notice spiritual upsets/broadcasts and such, though she can't see them--it's a vague feeling sort of thing.
Annnd thanks to canon elaborating--she's got the potential to learn telepathy, and how to walk through peoples minds. She doesn't know how to yet, but it'll probably be brought up at some point.

His telekinesis needs a lot of work, his empathy is decent, he has a half-way decent amount of skill with mindtricks, and he can't induce visions, he has to wait until the Force has something it wants to show him.

But the mind trick, he's really strong with that. Those things are Jolee's bread and butter. Basically, you're going to have to be VERY strong willed to resist a mind whammy from Jolee Bindo.

As mentioned earlier, Ghanima has a hint of prescience. It manifests as instinct and flashes of intuition, or through playing with the Dune tarot. If she thinks something is a bad idea? STOP. She's probably having a pre-cognitive moment.
