Character Abilities Tally
Guess who gets to steal another post from Erin?
(Hint: It's me)
In an effort to keep things a little more organized for plottishness and so on, we're going to ask a quick favor of you all.
Could you please reply to each appropriate comment below, and let us know what kind of powers/abilities/etc your character possesses? This is for all characters - students/alumni, teachers and townies - and covers everything including especially good researching/support skills, magic, skill with weaponry, mutations and so on. This is mandatory for all characters, and we would appreciate it ASAP though there is no specific deadline.
Anything that is a canon power or ability of your character and could be used in a plot in some way, please list below in the correct thread. Temporary powers for specific plots do not need to be noted now.
Please be as thorough as possible, as this will help everyone out with plots and knowing who can fill what roles.
Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to do this!
**Wait for the OCD omg or I will take you up on a roof and Chuck Bass you.** OCD up and nobody is getting molested. Huzzah!
1 In this instance, "canon" does refer to FH canon as well. If your character at this time has honed their fighting skills or anything like that, please do make sure to note that. For guidelines on characters picking up abilities, please see this post.
2 For those of you who had characters around the last couple years and just want to C&P what you put in the post then, here are some shiny links for you.

Mutations!
Please reply with a detailed explanation of what abilities your character is possesses, and their skill level/s.

Re: Mutations!
She's also had clairvoyant dreams about people emotionally close to her who are in pain or in trouble. The dreams have not predicted events so much as paralleled them, probably as an extension of her telepathy and concern about people she loves or knows well.
Dinah is a beginning telekinetic. She is not reliable at it; her aim is terrible, but she's begun training with boomerangs and darts, in order to aim projectiles where she wants them to go. She's also slammed two attackers larger than she into a wall during a fight. Her stamina is not great and she still needs a lot of practice. She'll get better over time, but it's going to take a while.
Dinah's final omitted ability, (since it's never been seen and only been speculated about in canon) is the sonic 'canary cry' - hugely destructive to property, ear-drums and consciousness. Barbara Gordon thought it likely that Dinah might have inherited this, but since Dinah didn't ever get to use it in canon, she won't be using it at FH *unless* a plot where its emergence or use would be called for, and then it would be at the discretion of the mods.
Re: Mutations!
So she still has super empathy as far as FH canon goes BECAUSE SOMEHOW THAT'S THE BETTER OPTION.
Re: Mutations!
...eeew.
Re: Mutations!
He is able to fly in excess of the speed of sound. The plasma field immediately surrounding his body is sufficiently hot to vaporize projectiles that approach him, including but not limited to bullets. He does not generally extend this flame beyond a few inches from his skin, so as not to ignite objects (or persons) in proximity to him. Johnny refers to his maximum flame output as his "Nova Flame," which is released omni-directionally and can reach 1,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit. He can also direct beams of "Nova Heat" as an offensive weapon for very brief periods of time before his energy reserves give out. Johnny has a high degree of control over his powers. He can hold a person while in his flame form without the person feeling the slightest bit of heat.
Re: Mutations!
Re: Mutations!
Also, Jean-Paul can fly faster than his twin sister, Jeanne-Marie, but she can fly farther, meaning JP doesn't have much stamina. *has a dirty mind*
Re: Mutations!
Re: Mutations!
He's also flown from NYC to DC, as well as to Texas while carrying a passenger, who likewise didn't sustain damage. We do not ask ourselves how this is possible, we just remain grateful for the times Pasdar does this while shirtless.
Re: Mutations!
I would like to second this remark.

Re: Mutations!
Warren is a tough cookie. He can take a beating that would kill most people, and he can laugh it off. Sky High doesn't show where the exact limit to this ability is, but for a point of reference, he does fly backwards through a wall, smash through a pillar of solid concrete, and then pull himself up and stalk back into the cafeteria to continue fighting the kid that threw him there. So it's safe to say that he probably isn't bulletproof, but he's stupidly resilient.
And, the power that's far more obvious- Warren can light himself on fire. He can control how much of his body burns, how hot it burns, and he can shut the fire off just as easily. He can throw fireballs with his hands (the science of which makes my head hurt, so we just kind of go with it), though he often gets careless with them, which may result in things lighting on fire that weren't supposed to. His flames don't let him fly or anything of the sort, but they do come in handy when there are candles that need to be lit or stupid kids who need to be beaten up.
An important point to keep in mind with Warren's flames, however- they'll only burn so long as there's air around him. Trap him in a vacuum, and you end up with a snuffed-out Warren, and then a dead Warren, as the poor boy still needs to breathe, dangit.
Re: Mutations!
well, except that one time shhh). He can also drain the life from people.Re: Mutations!
Ben has the proportionate strength, speed, and agility of a spider. In practical terms, he can move/run/dodge very quickly, jump very high, and bench 10 tons if he really pushed himself. Additionally, he can cling to most surfaces, allowing him to climb and hang from walls and ceilings. And he has a sixth sense that alerts him to danger. The closer and more dangerous it is, the stronger a tingle in the back on his head is.

Re: Mutations!
This one's kind of weird but due to the neural chip implanted into his brain, he's also gotten to be incredibly resilient and stubborn against attacks due to the constant barrage the neural chip's neural clone threw at him.
Re: Mutations!
I couldn't give you an exact measurement of how fast his speed can go, but he can run up six or seven flights of stairs in about two seconds.
Yay vague canon.
Re: Mutations!
As a result Jamie has a lot of different skills from various dupes that he sent out to be trained by specialists.
