Starting on March 30th, Fandom is going to be invaded by zombies.

Yes, zombies. And they're dying to get to know you better.

Without giving too much away, the Girls With Guns club is going to be followed home by a very disgruntled Zombie Voodoo Priest (ZVP) on their next outing. He wants revenge and brains, and Fandom seems like the perfect place to start.

Starting on April 1st (yes, seriously), Fandomites are going to get bitten by the newly-raised NPC zombies that are terrorizing the island. Research will begin on Thursday, once everyone realizes the radio wasn't joking the other night about ZOMBIES.

Sunday will be the showdown, with a small group going up against our ZVP while others defend the dorms and town from the Fandomite Zombies. They're on a mission to add to their ranks, by force, and they're after your brains!

ETA the First: Sign-up deadline is Weds, March 25th, at noon CST.

ETA the Second: The more Fandomite Zombies, the better! Remember, all damage sustained during your zombification will be reversed at the end of the plot. It's a great chance to provide mental trauma to your friends and family for years to come.

You mean I get to anonymously bite people and make jokes about 'braaaaaaaaaaaaaainz'? BRING IT.

Yes! I want to make my character into a member of the undead and terrorize the island for a few days! Biting people is fun!

Zombie Guidelines:

- Because we don't want people stuck with nothing to do but drool on themselves all week, PC Zombies will be allowed a certain amount of communication between themselves, in the form of very rudimentary, three-word sentences. "Me want brains," for example, is the dictionary definition of a zombie valedictorian. The insides of your head are rotting away, after all.

- To the living, the zombiespeak isn't nearly so comprehensible. If you're saying, "Good sir, I would like to eat your brains, do be a kind chap and stay still for a moment," they'll hear something more along the lines of "Hurr gurr blarrrrrr, braaaaains, raaaaaah."

- The zombies will think that it's perfectly normal that they are zombies. In fact, zombiedom is great! Sure, you smell kind of off and now and again you'll drop another limb, but really, you just want to spread the love. And nom on a few brains on the way. Is that really so bad?

- In the event that your zombie runs into someone they knew in life, they will recognize them! But a zombie mindset is a zombie mindset, and said mindset drives you to want to nom on the people you care for, possibly even more than total strangers. After all, zombie unlife is awesome! They should join! They'll love it! And anyhow, they look yummy!

- Zombies are NOT permitted entry to the dorms or school. These places have been a safe haven for the people within. That's not going to change here.

- Zombies will be allowed access to Caritas, just so long as they follow the house rules like everyone else, but bartenders reserve the right to refuse service to zombies as they see fit. Do remember that Caritas has a Sanctuary Spell in effect, so attacks within the building will be impossible anyhow.

- Because your flesh is rotting off, dear zombie, you're most likely not as spry as you were in life. If your victim runs away, you'll be restricted to the sad, somewhat clumsy lope that the rest of your kind is noted for.

- On the upside, because you're dead already, nothing shy of having your head chopped off is really going to stop you from trying! Take all the damage you want during this plot. I promise, it isn't permanent. Any missing limbs/brains/etc will be restored eventually. We can't replace sanity that was already missing, however. Even Fandom isn't that special.

- There will be no biting of characters who haven't signed up to be bitten. And if you are going to bite someone who has signed up, please to be making sure that you've got the Mun's permission before taking a chunk out of their spicy, spicy brains. The normal rules of roleplay manners still apply here.

[Note: This group may be narrowed down by RNG depending on how many sign up. If you are signing up more than one character to be zombiefied, please indicate which one is your preferred choice.]

[Note: This group will be facing NPC zombies during the time the Fandom Zombies are attacking the dorms, and will be determined by RNG if it gets too large. There are other zombie-fighting opportunities around the island that everyone is welcome to participate in.]
