Anybody Want This Couch?
On Thursday, April 30th, there is going to be a Yard Sale on the lawn of the dorms.
WHO: Any student who is leaving this term -- either graduating or just taking off -- is welcome to set up a table with some of the junk that they would rather sell (or give away) than pack up and take with them.
Anybody -- student, teacher, townie -- is welcome to wander the rows, haggle, and buy some of that crap.
WHAT: Yard sale! Set up a table (or several, if you have lots of stuff). Put little stickers on each item, and write a price on them. Probably something cheap. Hang out by your table, when you aren't browsing everyone else's tables to see if there's any junk you might want.
WHEN: Thursday, April 30th. All day. Your character can stay for as much or as little as desired.
WHERE: The lawn outside the dorms, so that townies and teachers are welcome to show up, too.
HOW: No need to sign up -- there will be OCD, and if your character wants to sell off some crap, there will be a place for him or her to start a thread. Explain what you have on the table, and what the prices are. Be as specific or handwavey as you like.
WHY: Because Rikku and Romeo, IC, realized they had lots of crap that they would rather give away than pack up, and they're probably not the only ones. Do you have a couch or a mini-fridge that's perfect for the dorms, but unnecessary back home? Do you have technological gadgets that are too advanced (or primitive!) to be useful, in the time era you're going back to? Sell them!
