Want to make sure you can always follow a specific person? Other random charmy things? She's your girl. Also she can bake charms into pies - including things like truth spells and love charms. I have NO IDEA how that could go badly.
Also she can do other random things like know if people are magical, see truth, shut gates to the Underworld, and identify all sorts of magic crap.
Menolly's a musician so, uh, yeah, there's that. Also nine firelizards who are available to help or hinder or teleport as needed.
