I just wanted to point out that no one is at all surprised by your horrible Mr. Potatohead reference.

Another reason? What's the first reason?

Hey, everybody's gotta be good at something. I chose being predictable.

I have this vague notion of somehow adapting the plot from Extreme Makeover: World Edition (http://charmed.wikia.com/wiki/Extreme_Makeover:_World_Edition) and Charmageddon (http://charmed.wikia.com/wiki/Charmageddon) in game, but no idea if it would actually work.

The basic premise is that the Avatars (these all powerful beings who are not blue aliens nor element wielding kids) convince the Charmed Ones to create utopia. Only the way that they keep it utopia is by "removing" anyone who creates conflict.

I thought it might be fun to have a few days in game where everyone is all "la la la happy go lucky" and some people disappear and then other people finally realize what is going on so it can be reversed. I don't know how practical of an idea it is though, so... what do you all think?

I read this Merlin fic and went oooh, awesome concept! And then hearing that there's a number of fics that apply this to different fandoms, I naturally started wondering if we could do this at Fandom.

Concept: Everyone has His Dark Materials-style daemons. (Your soul is external and takes the shape of an animal.) It'd be one of those things where people assumed they'd always had daemons and couldn't imagine it another way.

We *could* do this as a random event, but it feels to me like something that should be part of a plot. I have no idea what that plot would be, though.

What do you guys think?

Worf: Disappears in .00001 seconds.

Just out of curiosity, where would the disappeared people end up?

In canon, they are "gone to a better place" (so, dead).

For game purposes, I was thinking that maybe the Avatars could convince the COs to do a "test run" on Fandom, so maybe they're just ejected from the island and unable to get back to it?

DON'T WORRY. THERE IS A LOT MORE.

Even more if NBC decides they're going to KEEP SHOWING CURLING INSTEAD OF HOCKEY. I WILL DESTROY THEM.

I WOULD RATHER WATCH CURLING THAN THAT SILLY GAME WITH STICKS AND A PUCK!!

There is curling coming on RIGHT NOW!

(Which probably doesn't help you since you're at work...)

Well if we were to draw an analogy to the Angel plot we had, it would be more fun for the ejected people to be shipped somewhere else for a bit of fun. Not necessarily to another time period but may be an alternate version of Fandom or a completely different reality.

Which would beat having our characters hanging out on the other side of the causeway twiddling their thumbs. :)

So I'm in the middle of coming up with a plot for Worf based on an episode of TNG but to make it work I would need either some technical or magical item that would cause some sort of "subspace field pulse."

If any of your characters would have such an item or would just like to say it would it would be rather helpful. In the episode this pulse came from Geordi's VISOR.
