Embarrassment Ninjas, or, We have plot!
Well, for a given value of plot. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present the Embarrassment Ninjas!
Embarrassment Ninjas: the silent, swift embarrassers of the night. And day. And midafternoon. Trained since birth in the art of humiliation, they are coming to Fandom on Saturday June 5, courtesy of the Kim Possible canon.
Duhn, duhn, duhn.
Embarrassment Ninjas?
Yes, Embarrassment Ninjas. No one is better than the Embarrassment Ninjas at inflicting embarrassment and escaping unseen, so it's not just a clever name. They can not be seen, they cannot be sensed, they cannot be stopped. (Well, usually. I doubt they've met anything like Fandom's denizens.)
Watch here, from about :54 to 2:06. (...those two examples were obviously on their first mission.)
And they're coming to Fandom why?
The best of the best of them will be coming to Fandom for their annual convention. Not in a formal way, with nametags and event planning and buffet lunch, but in a 'show off to each other what we can do' kind of way.
This means they will arrive and proceed to embarrass the heck out of people.
I have a bad feeling about this…
Then you are wise! The Embarrassment Ninjas will be working overtime to embarrass people.
This may involve things like: people's pants suddenly falling down, or them tripping and falling into a carefully placed pool of pudding, or finding themselves suddenly dyed bright pink, or reaching into their pockets to pull out a handkerchief and instead pulling out a small and angry squid, who will proceed to ink everyone in range.
Pranks, basically, which will not actually hurt anyone or do any permanent damage. Please note, there is a thread in this post for people to suggest pranks! And if you want something specific done to your character, all you have to do is ask in the post provided on the day.
Yeah, I don't want to be Ninjaed
Not a problem! Embarrassment Ninjas will be opt-in only via:
a) specific request in an OOC request post
b) post-specific OOC note opening a post to Embarrassment Ninjas -- if your character goes into a post which is a marked Ninja Zone, an OOC note on the bottom of your first ping will keep the Ninjas at bay.
c) self-modded Embarrassment Ninjas.
Hang on, my character is way more awesome than any Embarrassment Ninja!
Fandom is full of the deeply awesome, this is true. The Embarrassment Ninjas are trained from birth in the fine art of embarrassing unseen, but as I said above, I doubt they've ever seen anything like Fandom before.
It would be brilliant if they could wreak their embarrassments and escape, but there are some characters for whom that could be OOC. So, some ground rules:
a) if a Fandomite spots an Embarrassment Ninja, the Ninja shall disappear in a puff of highly sticky glitter
b) if grabbed, or engaged in fisticuffs, they will launch more of the highly sticky glitter and slither away, unable to be held or hit.
The glitter is not Kim Possible canon, it just amuses me.
Hmm, I've always fancied myself as a bit of an Embarrassment Ninja. How do I get involved?
There's a thread for that. All you have to do is sign up to NPC an Embarrassment Ninja of your very own! You don't even need to be available all day on Saturday, just as long as you're available some of the day.
Enough of this malarkey! Where's my concrete details?!

Midnight Saturday June 5, the Embarrassment Ninjas depart.
