Age at the Reunion: 38... ish.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: While Cass was Divine last year, I'm going with her other potential future this year: she's just found out that the Seekers are deeply corrupt and they've been hiding important information about the Rite of Tranquility for years, so she's taken over and she's cleaning up ship, now that the Inquisition has put the world back to some semblance of Order.
She travels a lot.
She's post-Dragon Age: Inquisition, which means she's had a tumultuous few years running around trying to stop the world from ending or falling into chaos (DAMMIT ANDERS), helping the Herald of Andraste close up a variety of angry demon-filled Fade rifts all over Thedas, and eventually defeated Corypheus.
You'd think she'd take a vacation after that, but no. Though at least eventually she'll find time to read Varric's book about the Inquisition?
How Your Character Can Fit In: Cass is a terse writer, but she'll have written. And who knows, she could always use a few more good people at her side while she's working on rebuilding the Seekers. While she's been housed in Skyhold for two years by this point, she's recently left it and is now perpetually on the move. Though she occasionally stops by Val Royeaux to visit Lucille and, if she's there, Leliana.

Age at the Reunion: Let's say 36.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: We're going full classic DMC canon, whoo! Dante'll hail from (a reboot take on) the end of the anime series, running a devil hunting/supernatural detective agency called Devil May Cry with his (business) partner Trish, a demon. They were on the outs for a while, but well, there was that whole Abigail situation recently, so Trish is back to stay, at least for now.
He's not the absolute best in the world at writing anyone, but he'll probably have wound up randomly showing up at the homes of whoever stayed in contact with him, every now and again.
He's mellowed a lot... in his way. He's been white-haired for nearly twenty years, and he's just relaxing off a small bout of 'being nailed to a cross and left for dead in the demon world by an ancient, powerful demon called Abigail some asshole demon conjured back into the world while he wasn't watching'. He's better now! Bounced back in style. But that was a thing.
He found out what he was and who a long time ago, and lost his brother - with whom he'd been fueding for some time - when Vergil choose to remain in the demon world. All of that's been out in the open for a long time, though he doesn't talk about Vergil a whole lot and probably never has.
Anders has been living in the Devil May Cry building for years, and Kathy may as well have moved in by the time the reunion happened. He's cool with this.
(Warning: last three links are to clips from the anime for context and, well, it's DMC. There's a lot of blood.)
How Your Character Can Fit In: Frequent visitor, pen pal who occasionally has to call to yell at him for not responding often enough, long-suffering 'he showed up that one time', or hell, maybe you were involved in any of his bouts of demon-fighting over the years. Who knows? Hell, loads of people have probably cycled through crashing at DMC for a while. I'm open.
ETA: Almost forgot to mention, but he hasn't aged since hitting 25. He got away with it for a while, but it's starting to show.

Age at the Reunion: 93
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: So after school, Jalian goes back to canon, and to 1962 of her own timeline. She then proceeds to meet a guy who flips entropy on his head, and together they subvert world governments, cause self-aware AIs to be created, and create world peace via very contained nuclear events. By 2036 she's 93. But she's spent a lot of time with a guy who flips entropy on its head, so she looks like she's in her 30s or maybe 40s.
How Your Character Can Fit In: She'll have been out of touch for her canon, but that ends in 2007. So, 45 years from her perspective, but none at all from anyone on Fandom's.
She'd have been out of the habit of keeping in touch, but if anyone went looking for her, they'd have found her. She'd have been a bit more reticent and serious, and a lot older than they'd have been expecting. She also knows a lot more about modern times.
She may have been traveling around a bit, hopping here and there, just doing whatever. So if anyone wants her to have dropped by, let me know!

Age at the Reunion: around 37
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Sadly Thomas Sharpe died of tuberculosis while at boarding school, and Lucille, grief-stricken, followed her best friend Cassandra to her world. There she developed her knowledge of poisons, and eventually ended up employed by one of the influential people in Val Royeaux as an assassin. She met Leliana and the two of them fell in love and are now in a relationship. They are adorable. I'm giving Lucille a really happy future. She lives in a house in Val Royeax, with a library, a music room, and a garden full of poisonous plants. Reluctantly she looks after Leliana's pet nugs when they're poorly, and complains about it.
How Your Character Can Fit In: She would have written letters to friends, not that she has many. Or possibly people who insist writing to her.

Age at the Reunion: somewhere in the vicinity of 40, as far as she knows
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Raven makes it to Baltimore in her crosscountry trek to try to save Kathy, only to find the Causeway destroyed and the portal to Fandom closed. Alone, trapped in a zombie filled world, and more than a little crazy from stress and grief, she goes half-feral and turns bandit, roving across the eastern United States and attacking other travelers for food and supplies, until she's spotted by a band of isolationist doomsday preppers, who have formed their own strange, superstitious society based on misunderstood native American traditions and new age witchcraft. They decide she is a native trickster spirit and manage to kidnap her to be their bespoke deity. After years of being trapped and offered tokens and sacrifices, she loses track of who she actually is and what her actual history is, and starts to buy into the hype.
Right up until the colony hits a bad year, full of famine and illness, and she gets scapegoated. She manages to escape, dodging into a randomly opening portal. The colony is too terrified to follow, and she finds herself in a strangely familiar town, nearly completely free of zombies, where people claim to know her. . . .
How Your Character Can Fit In: She's been missing, presumed dead for 20 years. So shock/rueful comments about the impermanence of death for Fandomites would be appropriate.

Age at the Reunion: 45
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: So, somewhere in the time between now and the reunion, Kanan went back to his galaxy, fell in love, and kinda joined a rebellion against the Galactic Empire... that thing he's been on the run from since he was an awkward teenager. The rebellion went hand-in-hand with the love thing. I'd say it was complicated, but it mostly just boils down to 'there was a very attractive Twi'lek pilot lady named Hera involved, and Kanan is a big sap.' He stepped up to become a Jedi in earnest during the rebellion, took on a Padawan, and was finally properly knighted by a Force-vision of a guy he killed shortly before everything went to hell.
Then Malachor happened. Kanan doesn't talk about Malachor. It was a harsh turning point in his own path as a Jedi, left his padawan in a precarious relationship with the Dark Side of the Force, and resulted in some serious shifts in his own approach to life and the rebellion itself. Again, Kanan doesn't talk about it. He wears the scars on his face, and they do more than enough talking for him, even if they're mostly obscured by a blindfold.
Of course, these days the war against the Empire is over and has been for about seven years. The Republic has stepped up again, and life is pretty peaceful, comparatively. Kanan and Hera have settled down, though Hera will still pilot for the Republic if she's needed, and Kanan has... more or less retired to Lothal, where he's let himself become a stubborn old man before he even hit fifty and is generally keeping his nose out of that whole 'rebuilding the Jedi Order' thing that's going on elsewhere. He figures it's better that way.
He would have joined a proud tradition of bitter old Jedi men becoming hermits after something went horribly wrong with their apprentices, but Hera beat him upside the head until he gave in and started up an orchard growing jogan fruit. It gives him plenty of space to himself when he needs it, without all of that self-imposed exile garbage.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Kanan has been back and forth to the island time and again over the years, sometimes to teach, and sometimes because he needs the break from his own galaxy. After he started taking the Jedi thing seriously, he started letting himself take the teaching thing seriously, and was happy to mentor any student on Fandom who really wanted to learn, kind of stepping into Jedi Dad mode. After That Malachor Thing, he reeled back his involvement in the rebellion and did a bit of recuperating on the island itself for several years. He doesn't write - he claims he's too busy with the orchard but mostly he just never knows what to say - but he does still stop by the island for the occasional visit. He navigates the stairs pretty well for a tired-looking middle-aged man in a blindfold. If you've got a student you think might have benefited from having a gunslinger space dad, Kanan is here for you!

Hannibal's age at the reunion: 71.
Jono's age at the reunion: AHAHAHAHAHAHA. At least 20 years older than he is now. He generally just rounds up to 'fuck if I know.'
Backstory we've worked out so far: They spend time in Fandom and Westchester, teaching. Jono is whole (more or less) and now runs his own X-team; a group of redeemed Weapon X misfits that go by Excelsior. Hannibal sits back and does the computer and medical stuff behind the scenes. Hannibal hasn't aged much. For ridiculous comic book universe reasons.
They still live in the same house, though they'll be confused at the old decor. And by Beethoven, who passed on a while ago. But not by Joni. They're stuck with Joni forever.
Jono doesn't mind. He's basically stuck here forever too. The joy of not actually depending on a functional body in order to live.
Hannibal only pretends to mind, because he's got a reputation to uphold. And he's basically stuck here forever, too. The joy of...reasons. Ridiculous comic book universe reasons. And tricksy Hannibal reasons.
They won't be surprised that the kids (yes, plural, though most of them are adopted mutant children) aren't around. There was some field trip to the Savage Land that one of the Wolverines was taking the Westchester students to, because some things never change. The younger ones are off with Auntie Jubilee so their dads can enjoy the reunion.
How your character can fit in: They spend a lot of time on the island, and they'll have kept in touch with anyone that wanted to stay in touch, universes permitting.

Age at the Reunion: 37, almost 38
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Ada moved to the tank full-time two years ago, when she completely lost the use of her legs and couldn't cope with the severe pain of being confined to a wheelchair while every single bone in her legs dissolved and reformed under her skin as her legs fused together. It was the water or continuing a pain-killer regimen (swiftly becoming an addiction) that wasn't actually helping, and she chose the water. She stayed out of the tank almost a decade longer than her mother did, but Ada Miller doesn't live in a world with fairy godmothers or where wishes come true. In the end, there's no cure for being born a mermaid. Her legs have coalesced into her tail, which is almost completely scaled-over; she will never walk again.
Her memory is okay most days, though it's starting to slip. The routine of the carnival helps keep it from all falling away: she always knows her name, and most of the cousins, and while sometimes she needs a prompt on the long-term stuff, her short-term memory is just fine. Of course there's bad days, too, and those are getting more and more frequent. She doesn't have a phone anymore because she forgot it wasn't waterproof twice and tried to take it under with her while she was talking to someone. Oops.
Her cousin Duncan was put in charge of her phone, in case of actual emergencies, but he won't answer calls from Fandom numbers nine times out of ten. You'd have to call repeatedly, on the same day, for him to pick-up. He doesn't like the Fandomites coming around and getting Ada all upset when she thinks about what she's lost, because it kills him a little bit each time her heart breaks all over again.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Duncan might not be thrilled when people from Fandom call or show up, but the rest of the carnival plays a different tune: Ada's friends have been free to come-and-go as they like for years, and have free use of her trailer. She's not using it anymore, after all. Stay a few hours, stay a few months, the Millers don't mind as long as you pitch in in the kitchen if you're staying more than a week. Besides, Chester is still in charge, not Duncan, and as long as Chester is the head of the Millers, people from Fandom are welcome.
When she's having a Good Day, Ada might yell at a cousin until they set up a laptop for her -- safety cabled to a railing because dammit Ada -- so she can Skype with people. So if you think you've talked with her recently, you probably did!
During the reunion itself, Ada will be residing in Selkie Lake, thinking the island just decided it was going to kidnap her for the reunion in its own weird way.

Age at the Reunion: Technically 60, but he looks like he's in his 20s. At best.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Leverage Inc. has stayed headquartered in Fandom for the last 20 years, with the three of them settling into being really thoroughly married in every way but legal (though they've been working on that). They've taught classes on and off and trained up any number of students from Fandom in the life of ethical lawlessness. Leverage: TNG is large and seriously effective. They've fought off countless (literally, they stopped bothering to count) invasions over the years, had several narrow misses, and have died at least once apiece, but nothing stuck.
Well, until three years ago when Eliot got sucked into locker 327 and came back out deaged by about 40 years. They're still working on figuring that one out. Eliot's enjoying being "indestructible" again and eats cheeseburgers for more meals a day than is generally wise, and Hardison and Parker are enjoying teasing the crap out of him for looking like a co-ed. He gets mistaken for a student by new teachers every semester, which Hardison especially thinks is hilarious.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Wanna be a member of Leverage International? Have gotten recruited on miscellaneous cons? They'll totally have kept in touch with anyone who'll talk back over the years. Their Christmas letters are a thing to behold.

Age at the Reunion: 33
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: After Fandom, Roscoe didn't go to college but instead worked the reality show circuit, appearing on Drag Race and, later on, a "stick a bunch of millennials in a house and see what happens" type of deal. People thought he was likeable, and he liked the attention and the drama it brought him, but eventually he got bored. After that he got into modeling, which he quit because he hated being bossed around. These days, Roscoe is well-known in LA as a stylist to the stars. He's that friend who keeps partying after most of his friends have mellowed out, but it's fine, because he keeps making new friends through his clients that are in their twenties or act like they are. He lives with his much younger half-sister Phoebe, who is a junior in high school and much more practical and responsible than Roscoe ever was. Over the years, Roscoe kept in touch with people from Fandom and every once in a while sends a hideously expensive bag or a nice suit to someone he thinks would appreciate it, usually with just a small card with his initials. He's been married and divorced twice and neither of the marriages lasted more than a year. He probably invited people from school to both weddings, which were big, luxurious destination events. He has a lot of fun, but I wouldn't necessarily say he's happy. He struggles with depression, and publicly "came out" as depressed in a profile that was done on him for an entertainment magazine.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Roscoe has become the kind of fancy rich person who takes friends on lavish trips and fancy nights out and makes memories that involve running into celebrities, so he may have shared some such experiences with your character! Since he is so new to Fandom, I would like to imagine that he has made friends he doesn't know yet IG, and same goes for romantic partners. He hooks up a lot and has a lot of intense, can't-get-enough-of-each-other relationships that last a very short time and so perhaps he shared one such relationship with your character! He's also more than happy to lend his connections to someone who could use a favor, like some kind of entertainment emergency.

Age at the Reunion: Around 50, but looks the same as now apart from more wormskin.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far:
Leto is still Emperor of the Known Universe and his life hasn't changed that much, apart from Hania being grown-up. She's off on adventures in some universe somewhere, and while he worries he thinks that's what she should do. Otherwise, things are mostly the same for him.
How Your Character Can Fit In:
He would have stayed in touch with his friends, and could possibly have made new ones over the years.

Character Name: Atton Rand
Age at the Reunion: 51. HE DOESN'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Atton's a Jedi. Again. There might have been a spot sometime in his 30s were he wasn't, but thankfully, it didn't end entirely terribly. He's a Jedi Battlemaster teaching the young ones at the Temple when he's not out on missions (which isn't nearly as often as it used to be) - or spending time in his apartment at Fandom.
Look, he needs the break, okay?
He's more at peace with himself than he used to be, but he's never gone Full Jedi. He resigned from his seat on the Council as soon as a better replacement was found. Over the years, they've lost Mical and Mira, the former dying of an accident during an excavation, the latter dying heroically saving a whole planet.
The Jedi Order's pretty big now.
He's never taken a Padawan - not his style.
How Your Character Can Fit In: He's still out and about Fandom, still teaches, and still probably gets on trouble at the regular, so...

Age at the Reunion: 37.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: At last, Edward is what he always wanted to be: a man of superior tastes and character. Problem is, that's hardly his aspiration anymore. So while he married rich and has two children, a large mansion, and a habit to at least pretend like he cares about the opera, he's secretly working for a shadowy organisation called the Assassin Brotherhood.
They're into killing people for the good of the planet. It's a thing.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Edward probably wrote... after he came back home from the Caribbean. Partly he waited until then because he wasn't certain how to contact anyone otherwise, partly he just had so much stuff going on and partly he'd just been a selfish git for a long time.
He probably hasn't brought up the former pirate thing much. Largely because he'd rather not remind anyone back home that he is That Kenway. He prefers to be That Rich Man of Taste, Kenway, with a dash of That Guy Who's Good At Hunting Down Secret Artifacts And Killing Bad People, We Don't Know His Name, He's A Bloody Assassin.

Age at the Reunion: 38
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: At the end of the summer, Alana went back to Landfall as planned. And that lasted about six months before she realized a)she still hates living with her dad and Even and b)there was still a war going on. So she came back to Fandom, crashed on the island for a year or two, and then headed out to Hollywood to try her luck. (She's always wanted to act, and people keep telling her she's got an "exotic" look.) She did some modeling, a couple bit parts in action movies, and now she's had a supporting role as a crime lord's tough mistress on a nighttime soap for the last, oh, six or seven years. The show's kind of terrible but the money's good, and Alana actually isn't bad in it. She's a solid C-list celebrity and generally enjoys it.
She's dated around a lot, including Tom Cruise for five minutes on a bet. One time she was married but, well, it was like they came from different worlds. It didn't last long. No kids, which makes her a little sad, but she doesn't dwell on it. She's got enough else going on.
She is scrupulously honest about the alien thing ... but most people think she's just an actress trying to be quirky. She's given up getting people to believe her.
How Your Character Can Fit In: She's kept in touch when she thought of it, and turns up in the "What Not to Wear" feature in random tabloids every so often.

Age at the Reunion: He'll have JUST turned 40 for this event. He's not thinking about it.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Sparkle stuck around the island basically indefinitely, though he has done some wandering from reality to reality over the years, he's come to terms with the fact that Fandom is the place that's been more like home than any home he's ever known before. Sure, he'll have spent time in other realities here and there, doing odd jobs for friends and lending a hand where he can, but he's got a good thing going on back on Fandom Island, with an awesome roomie and a clothing shop that's basically his anyway. Why would he mess with a good thing?
... Don't answer that. He'll be over here pretending he was always responsible while teaching classes at the school about surviving Fandom's rough stuff without powers. Because SOMEONE has to.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Sparkle has gotten better at keeping touch over the years, mostly in the 'picking up a phone and calling' way of doing things. But since he does still live on the island, and he's a teacher himself, keeping in touch would be especially easy for anyone who still has access to Fandom. If you've got a character who's spent some time around the island, hey, maybe they've met. If that character happens to be an attractive guy, maybe they've done more than meet. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT.

Age at the Reunion: 37-38-ish
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: After returning to Thedas, Isabela spent a good ten years becoming one of the most fearless, swashbuckling pirates to ever sail the Eastern Seas, with lovers (including one memorable time involving the Hero of Ferelden and her lover [and Zevran] during the Fifth Blight) and criminal records in every port, then you know, you steal one tiny priceless cultural artefacts from one tiny massive group of militant collectivists and you find yourself shipwrecked in a shithole of a city like Kirkwall.
For seven years. Then someone did the thing. Anders.
But at least she got a girlfriend who like stabbing things with knives and making terrible jokes almost as much as she does out of it. And everything was good.
Until the fucking sky tore itself a new one that is.
So now and she's off running
multiplayermissions for this Inquistionbecause it's the right thing to dofor gold and booty. Because have you seen Inquisitor Adaar's, just watch, if she plays her cards right she'll be able to climb her like a tree. How Your Character Can Fit In: Isabela's letter-writing has been erratic at best (better during the fucking Kirkwall years),but she was always happy to have her friends visit (especially if they brought bail money), though less so at times because visiting Kirkwall is a terrible idea (so naturally it did actually happen a few times).

Age at the Reunion: 38
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Shortly after returning to his version of a galaxy far, far away and enrolling in flight school, a little thing called the Battle of Endor happened and the Rebel Alliance slowly began turning into the New Republic. Since the fight with the Empire was still ongoing, Face continued with his plans to sign up, but let's face it, some people aren't exactly cut out for a traditional military and Face was looking at being tossed out on his rear for his, well, Face-ness.
But luckily Wedge had that whole Wraith Squadron idea and three months later, Face found himself going from Flight Officer to Captain (also newly scarless thanks to some posthumous blackmail) and in charge the of the Wraiths, who were nabbed wholesale by New Republic Intelligence.
And there he's been ever since.
Since he's in the relative lull between peace being signed with the Imperial Remnant and
everything coming up grimdarkthe Yuuzhan Vong war, everything's pretty great for Face. He's in a long-term sometimes-off/mostly-on relationship with the lovely Dia Passik (*offers Kanan a Twi'lek-pilot-girlfriends-are-the-best brofist*), and whilehe hasn't met his universe's version of Mara yet, he lives in gleeful anticipation of the day he can troll her too.
How Your Character Can Fit In: If you think he'd keep in touch, he most likely has. Probably with a great many outrageous and obvious lies about what he's doing. You might even have met a Wraith or two.

Age at the Reunion: 36ish, doesn't look it.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Hyacinthe is too pretty for all the awful things about to happen to him, but, SIGH, that's how the world works.
After graduation and a summer traveling with a modern day kumpania, the Miller Family Carnival, Hyacinthe goes home to canon and a great deal of suck. The worst of it culminates in a trip to Alba (fantasy!England), falling in love with a girl, watching her die, and then solving a riddle so his other sorta-girlfriend can go on and finish her adventures while he stays stuck on an island.
He stayed stuck on this island for more than a decade. Mind, in that time, he became the Master of the Straits, learning the language of angels and gaining power and dominion over the sea, all creatures who dwell in the water, weather,
seabirds, and pretty much anything else that involves air and water, but...more than ten years. On a crappy island. It was pretty terrible.
Fortunately, about a year ago, his best friend came through with the True Name of God and used it to
banish the angel that created the curse because he loved a D'Angeline girlfree Hyacinthe. After a little while of wandering around Terre D'Ange and reacquainting himself with the concept of 'not being trapped on a tiny island', Hyacinthe took off to spend some more time with the Millers. He'd hoped his powers could help Ada, but there's no magic that can overpower biology. Instead he works, telling fortunes with the dromonde, keeping the skies clear wherever the carnival sets up shop, making sure Ada is comfortable, and enjoying being around people who don't look at him in awe.How Your Character Can Fit In: He was a pretty lousy correspondent for the 10+ years he was trapped on an island with no way off, but since coming back to Earth, he's probably sent out a few letters trying to reconnect with people. And, like Roscoe, since he's new, I'm absolutely willing to assume he's made friends over the years with people he hasn't yet had a chance to meet.

Age at the Reunion: 38
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: The Kathy is this timeline never went to LA to fight zombies. By the time she knew her city was in trouble, the portals were already closed and she couldn't get home. She managed to say goodbye to her family, giving up the secret identities of several of the heroes in hopes that they'd keep her family safe and reluctantly went about living her life with the knowledge that she'd likely never see anyone from her world again.
She ended up going to college in Raven's universe, switching from pre-med to pre-law halfway through sophomore year, focusing on social justice and mutant rights. To no one's surprise, she also ended up wearing an X on her belt, as well as being the first of the Junior Leverage Associates and popping over to Dante's world to help him out with Devil May Cry, especially those parts of it that involved legal matters and money that couldn't be spent on booze and pizza.
About ten years after graduation, she got married to Havok and they're happy...for a little while. He's nice and they hero together, but he doesn't understand why she has to flit between three universes and she doesn't get why he can't see there's something wrong with Xavier's paramilitary school for children. She ends up spending more and more time with Dante and Anders in DMC!verse and, finally, about eighteen months before the reunion, she and Havok quietly separate. This turns into a true divorce after Dante gets crucified and Kathy basically moves into DMC with him, Anders, Trish, and the rest of the DMC crew.
How Your Character Can Fit In: ...Why is everyone staring at her like that? Look, she knows she's been kind of out of touch recently what with...everything, but she DEFINITELY called you for your birthday. Or had lunch with you a few weeks ago!
This Kathy has kept in touch with all of her friends over the years and has no idea why anyone would think that it's been twenty years since anyone has seen her. Or why they'd think she was dead! She's visited the island fairly frequently as well, so if you want her to have a one-sided relationship with your character, please hit me up!

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: He's in his last year at the school and will be retiring at the end of the next year, so is attending to catch up on everyone's life before he and Rory have to pay for their non-Fandom funded vacations around the world. How Your Character Can Fit In: Come, tell him your horrible backstories!

Age at the Reunion: 36
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: After graduation, Ringo went back to her world and got involved pretty early in the "professional" AT scene. She spent five or six years as part professional athlete, part advocate, and part spokesperson as she turned out to be popular on TV.
Just as AirTrek is making the cultural transition from "that weird thing those kids do" to "kind of interesting, but not popular like baseball or soccer", there is a major terrorist incident using AT technology (it was originally developed for the military after all). This led to a global crackdown on the technology, with governments worldwide tending to classify AirTrek as military technology, and trying to keep it out of the hands of civilians.
Given that the AT community basically evolved from something like street punk culture going mainstream, they were pretty much prepared to just ignore the government and do what they'd always done. Ringo was publicly active at this point, doing the talk-show circuit and basically arguing that AirTrek was too important a technology to try to keep it out of peoples' hands.
Unfortunately, the government responded as they sometimes do be cracking down on the tech and those who had it even harder, and over a period of five or six years began deploying more and more "tactical" law enforcement teams to shut down AT gatherings, confiscate gear, and arrest participants. Ringo tried to stay active in public discussion, but got fewer and fewer invites from the networks as they came to fear being associated with the "radical AirTrek movement".
Then, about five or six years before the reunion, a government raid got violent and a bunch of AT folks, some kids, got killed. One of them happened to be Ringo's youngest sister. Which is when Ringo basically disappeared from public life, and Crazy Apple began seriously organizing an underground movement.
They're not really a resistance. Nothing that strong. There's not open conflict with the government, but things have been escalating back and forth for a while now, with the AT folks graduating from civil disobedience to nonviolent sabotage of law enforcement equipment to vigilante attacks on particularly corrupt anti-AT agents. On the other side, the government has stepped up anti-AT rhetoric, claiming that AirTrek criminals are responsible for most of society's ills, and mounting bigger and flashier raids with agents armed with tear gas and tactical armor to show how effectively they're combating the "problem".
How Your Character Can Fit In: Ringo was super-social during those first, good years. Her schedule involved a ton of travel, so she took advantage of that to see her old high school friends quite often. As tensions rose after that first incident, her traveling cut back, but didn't stop. In the five or six years since her sister died, she's been a lot harder to get in touch with. Crazy Apple doesn't value those old relationships the same way Ringo does, after all. Still, if you've actively sought her out, she's been findable, it's just not a high priority for her these days.
If anyone wants to have participated in any of this, that'd be totally fine! I figure that early on Ringo would just be excited to have people show up for AT fun, and once things went really bad, Crazy Apple can always use some extra hands to stick it to the Man.

Age at the Reunion: 37
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: This Ahsoka never even made it to graduation, finding out about Anakin's little Dark Side problem at the worst possible time, and to cut a long and painful story short, she fell.
Oops.
How Your Character Can Fit In: She probably lost contact with people pretty early on, first out of some idea about protecting them and then, well, just because she thinks Anakin is overly dramatic when it comes to Obi-Wan doesn't mean she wants to risk her limbs being chopped off and set on fire.

Age at the Reunion: 37
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: He came back to the island in late summer 2016, planning to Never Ever Leave Again. After graduation, he settled in to manage the Magic Box -- and then had his plans disrupted when he fell through a portal to Thedas. (Oops.)
He lived relatively quietly as an apostate in a Fereldan village until a Blight broke out. During its early days, Anders got captured by Templars and brought to Vigil's Keep, where he was conscripted into the Wardens. He was with the Wardens for almost three years before he was able to take advantage of some post-battle confusion and slip away to a secret Portalocity office in Val Royeaux. He made it back to Fandom and, later, to Limbo City, where he helped Dante at DMC and offered healing to the poor and needy.
When he was around 30, he realized money would be a good thing and DMC never makes any, so he enrolled in college as a pre-med major. What with his complete lack of background in modern medicine, this is not easy, and the process of becoming a doctor takes up most of his mental effort and free time for the next decade. He'll be almost done with his residency by the time of the reunion.
He's dated casually, but there's no one special in his life at the time of the reunion.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Anders was in touch sporadically before the blight, and consistently for the last 15 years or so. (During the blight itself, he was out of contact and assumed dead.) He's always happy to fight whatever's wrong in his friends' worlds, or help heal them in the aftermath. And I wouldn't be surprised if he fell into bed with a few Fandomites along the way.

Age at the Reunion: ...1ksomething?
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Bob's stayed at Fandom off and on, teaching and heading back to Chicago for years or months at a time to keep Harry alive. He's still here!
How Your Character Can Fit In: Bob will have been around for anyone who wants, though mostly inaccessible for the years or months he's in Chicago, with occasional letters via Harry.

Age at the Reunion: ...40ish? Maybe? Minako stopped really keeping track after her immortality kicked in at twenty-two and she ceased aging like all the other senshi. She just throws herself a birthday party and doesn't really bother to figure out her actual age.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: STUFF HAPPENED. She's died two or three times saving the world, been resurrected by the Power of Love (tm), and her world is now the new Silver Millennium and Crystal Tokyo is the capital of the world.
Which means ya'll got some highly entertaining contributions to the alumni newsletter, and it's probably common knowledge that Minako's a reincarnated goddess and kicks yoma butt every time they so much as step a toe inside her galaxy.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Minako *is* Sailor Venus pretty much full-time at this point; there is no difference between them, no transformation needed to access her powers. If you read the alumni newsletter, you probably know she's a celestial Guardian of Love & Justice, and she's an awesome penpal who keeps up with all her friends still. And she's not above using her position to offer some very interesting internships and jobs for Fandom High grads.
...she also throws shopping parties where she drags people around Tokyo, because HELLO, Usagi's being Queen and a parent, and Rei's tastes are sophisticated but not COOL and Ami's hopeless as always and Haruka just makes fun and Mako-chan oh GOD such a tomboy sometimes and Minako has to talk to people who aren't her senshi sometime OMG. Sometimes peace and tranquility and enlightenment suuuuuuuuuuck.
