The Return of Power Swap!

Hello, all! It's me again, here with another event where I went "hey we haven't done this since like 2014!"

Powers. Some of our characters have them. Some don't. Let's have some shenanigans about that. That's right, it's time for POWER SWAP WEEKEND!

Here are the rules:

If you play someone with powers and want them to participate, you sign up in this here post listing one or two powers you'd be willing to have them lose for the entire weekend. All primary powers will be given away. Your secondary power might as well, if we have uneven numbers and need things to assign to people. Your character will lose both powers you signed them up for regardless of whether both are given away.

If you play someone without powers and would like to get one RNGed to you for the entire weekend, sign up in this here post listing one or two totally ordinary skills you'd be willing to lose for the weekend. Same rules apply here: you'll lose everything you sign up for, and will only gain one superpower.

(and I don't have the right mix of characters so I will use an old example!):

EXAMPLE: Jessica (powered) gets signed up with webshooting and strength, James (powered) with superspeed, and Bruce (unpowered) with his ability to look great in any given suit and his ballroom dance training. RNG gives Bruce webs, Jess the suits, and James the ballroom dancing. Jess loses both powers (even though only one was picked), James loses his speed (even though it wasn't picked), and Bruce is looks disheveled in all suits and as no rhythm, but he gets webs, so that works out for him.

Everyone wakes up on Monday morning totally back to normal whether they're in Fandom or not.

Oh, why do I mention the part about "whether they're in Fandom or not"? Because this is happening October 23-25, which happens to be homecoming weekend, which means this is open to all characters who are on island that weekend!

All signups will be randomized by me. If you're interested, please sign up below before midnight on Tuesday, October 20, so I have time to put together the matchups.

Hey hey hey! If we have powers that are a potential safety hazard when they're unchecked, should we throttle that in the sign-up for playability, or just make a note for the player who gets them so they can deal with that IC if they'd like?

Make a note of it in the signup and it'll get included in the email I send to the player who gets it. They'll also know who the power is coming from so if they have any questions about how it works they can contact you and can decide how to proceed!
