OOC: Chaos Drink Event
Hello there! I'm here to bring you another event courtesy of
craftyladyparts brain! You may have noticed Kitty advertising an ~event~ next Tuesday, August 31. It's a great chance for the people of Fandom to get together, maybe let off some steam or drown some sorrows, all for free to test market a new booze called Chaos Drink. Win/win!
There's a catch, however.
Unbeknownst to everyone in Fandom, Chaos Drink causes actual chaos for everyone who drank it. What kind of chaos? Well, you'll have one change to your character for each shot you drink on Tuesday. These changes can be anything from minuscule cosmetic changes (eye color, scent, etc.) to their appearance to drastic changes to their lives or backstory (were you from a farm in Kansas before? Well you are now). Most of the time they'll know there's a change, but not always...
And of course because it's chaos, you do not get to choose the changes. No, you sign up with the amount of shots your character will be doing, and I RNG a list of 100 possible changes and send you an email with the changes you're assigned. If you drink four shots, you will have four changes you will be expected to play with for the duration of the event. Please make sure to only sign up for what you/your character's liver can handle.
These changes will all happen concurrently for a whole three days, from when your characters wake up on Wednesday, September 1 until they go to bed September 3. They'll wake up Saturday totally back to normal, with full memory of everything.
Also sign ups won't close until the party on Tuesday is over. You can either sign up now with a plan of what your character will drink or you can decide what you're doing the day of. The only rule there is that I won't be assigning changes past Tuesday, so keep that in mind if you're going to SP.
Mwahaha.

Questions, comments, pie?

Re: Questions, comments, pie?
And then my other dumb question is whether your character should just accept this new reality and roll with it like it's always been the case, as we do with weetiny/theme weekends, or whether they should be alarmed or confused at these changes a la Pony Weekend or the like.
Re: Questions, comments, pie?
Most of the time it'll be up to you however you want to react to these changes, if your character finds it weird that they're doing these things or if they think it's always been totally normal. There are a few where the reaction is part of the change, though, and those will be explained in the email if you get one of those.
Re: Questions, comments, pie?
THAT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE, THANK YOUUUUUU.
Re: Questions, comments, pie?
...he probably won't, out of politeness, but this could get fun.

The effects are also sometimes very weird and I would apologize but I don't want to. The game doesn't get new thoughts from my brain too often, so when it does, it's gonna be be A LOT.
