Anybody want to help a vamp?
I'm going to phrase this one broadly so as to not spoil people who don't want to be spoiled about upcoming plotlines. Suffice it to say if you don't want to know anything about what's going to happen with Angel and/or anyone he hangs out with between now and Saturday, don't click the cut tag.
On the other hand, if you'd like to be a tiny bit spoiled and possibly help out
Okay, Angel's going to be hit with "Killer of the Dead" poison between now and Saturday. The name's truth in advertising. If Angel doesn't get cured of this, he'll die. Actual death, as in bye-bye vampire.
The canonical cure for this poison is draining the blood of a Slayer. One problem: We lack in Slayers. Especially ones we can kill. Ooops. ;)
What we do not lack in, however, is all sorts of folks from all kinds of dimensions who can possibly come up with a new kind of cure.
So, who wants to help out a vampire?
Plot-wise I'd need Angel to be down for the count for at least a few days and, if necessary, I can keep him suffering for about a week. Beyond that, sky's the limit for my needs. Hopefully this can provide a way to get some teamwork and interaction going, so some kind of solution that takes a little bit from one fandom, a little bit from another, mixes it with another, etc. would be best.
Any takers? =)
ETA: For the folks going to England, we can handwave the canon a little and keep Angel sick as long as we need to. Plus there's some help that could happen in England itself. So there's plenty of ways to make sure all who want to get to play =)

So is there anything in Charmed canon that could be broadly applied to this situation?

I'm not sure how it'd play out, but I like interacting with you and that rarely happens nowadays.

Plus Parker and Marty will be doing some researchy stuff it looks like.

Hey... Overseas help! That way the kids overseas can get involve too!
No need to thank me. I already know I'm a genius.

This is also why I'm happy to keep him down for the count for a week or so if need be. It's pushing canon a little but I figure we can handwave the dosage he got. And this way the folks going on the UK trip can participate too.

"I... I can't come in unless you invite me."
Giles returns from the hall, holding a crossbow and raising it at the ready.
"I'm aware of that. Come in."
----
SPOILER ALERT! IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN SEASON 7 BTVS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Keep in mind that Giles comes from a timeline in which there are plenty of slayers to go to. Now, depending on how you want to do this, we can have Giles hold out on him, or maybe the Slayers' blood has been diluted. Or his conduit back to his own dimension goes dark.

I always believe the G in RPG should stand for anGst ;)
And the great thing with Giles is that, as you say, he could be used in either direction.
If nothing else I'd imagine Giles would be the one to figure out what's poisoned Angel since he, unlike FH Angel, has seen this before. (I pulled Angel out at a nebulous point of s3 Buffy, so he hasn't been poisoned by Faith yet)
Beyond that, let's see who all volunteers and then we can figure out a plan of action that lets everybody have something to do if they want it.

V & Piper are heading to CA at some point over break, but we haven't decided exactly when yet.

Possibly threatening to beat up demons for help with the cure? (Points to one of Bel's earlier suggestions)

The name of a book, the name of a city, the name of a person.
So the ball could give the name of an author of a book that we need to look into, but not tell us that this person is long dead and/or that they wrote a book we need, or which of their books we need.
Or whatever you want really.
We have established that Pippi has the crystal ball with her, and it hasn't been used as of yet. Walter wrote about it for Grissom's Paranormal class, so anybody in that class has the potential to know about it.
If you'd like to do something with that, Pippi would be happy to assist.

She usually packs a flintlock when she travels, customs being what they are in American airports, she'll have to leave that home... Crystal Ball's just as good right?

Also, hmm. Xander came from really, really close to graduation, because they'd already figured out that's when the Mayor was going to ascend. But probably not that day, which I think was when the poisoning happened. Probably sometime earlier that week. So no help on the already-knowing-what-it-is front.

Count Alfred in. You know, acess to a massive fortune and all sorts of incredibly nifty Wayne Enterprises gadgets. (Hey, Batman doesn't mind stealing them? Alfred doesn't mind stealing them.)
Maybe I'll get a chance to do a little RP as Lucius Fox and use a Morgan Freedman icon.

I have no idea what Blair can do to help...but he really wants to help! I'm still planning on him going to England, so maybe with the Marty/Parker/Watcher thing?

And of COURSE she'll be around to help.

Oh, hey - does she want to have a vision about Angel seeing Darla? She can't do anything to stop it and she can't know exactly why he shouldn't be seeing Darla, but it could be a thing to do.
Then if she's going to Logan's party there could be red herrings where she and Angel think the vision was about one thing, but it's actually the poison.
