Update on the cure

Okay, after brainstorming it out yesterday it looks like the solution that will work is Al's alchemy + Halliwell spell + Ingredient from the UK gang + The blood of Chosen Ones = Healed vampire.

What we still need to determine:

1) What ingredient the UK gang is getting.
2) Who makes the Slayer = Chosen One connection and sets the blood drive in motion.

For #2 I think it'd be hilarious if it was Janet, just so she could have a headdesky moment of "Oh, great, now we actually need all those stupid Chosen Ones." but I don't know if she'd be up for that.

Discuss. =)

Actually - according to what Giles emailed me late last night - he wouldn't have had to visit Angel to diagnose because he has seen it all before. And to explain why he wouldn't have mentioned it to Xander, he could have (a) assumed Xander would know because he doesn't know where in the Buffy timeline Xander came from (from Xander) or (b) because Xander didn't ask (from Giles).

So, while I was vague when V talked to Bel & Logan, I think we can operate on the assumption that he did, in fact, tell V & Cordy the name of the poison (which is escaping me at this particular moment). We won't get that scene done until I get home from work though - so we could really have it go either way - up to you :)

Fair 'nough. I didn't know that Giles had been told enough of the symptoms in order to make a diagnosis. But I'm all for expediency at this point =)

Thus far he was told about Darla and the stake and that it's definitely a poison and that Angel was itchy & feverish.

I don't know your canon - so I don't know if that's enough - but Giles said it is since he's seen it before, so I'm taking his work on that :)
