Zordon's Announcements This Week

Because what fun is the last week of school without some added wacky stress, especially for you seniors?

So of course the part of today's announcements that got cut off (but which Peter figured out and Angela OOCly clarified here) was Zordon reminding Alpha that no, the whole legally recognized Mountie marriage thing is not quite that simple, but what fun would that be? The laundry machines are not going to relinquish their hold on the clothes they have in custody until very, very late Thursday night, right around midnight. Please, feel free to run out of clean clothes before then and have to scrounge up whatever just to remain decent.

Anyway, here's the heads-up on the next couple of days' worth of announcements, behind a cut so as not to spoil the surprise for those of you who don't want to know. [livejournal.com profile] psycho_jackass and the residents of the fifth floor will want to click the first cut, at least. [livejournal.com profile] soldtoarmenians, I freely admit I had you in mind while elaborating on the proposed idea for Thursday's.

Tomorrow, all the doors on the fifth floor will be on strike. They won't open unless you sing to them, and yes, this goes for every single time you go in or out. Leaving the doors ajar won't work; they'll shut themselves again unless you prop them open with something heavy. But the doors are stubborn, and will eventually push that out of the way, and enlist the pirats to help if they have to. They have a CAUSE HERE! They will FIGHT FOR IT!

And yes, since Logan Echolls's door comes from the fifth floor, he's got to deal with it too.

We're talking whole songs here -- further details in the announcements tomorrow morning, but suffice to say it will require extreme embarrassment on you fifth-floor residents' part if you want in or out of your dorm rooms.

What's going to be on strike Thursday? Well, writing correction implements. Erasers, White-Out, the delete keys on your keyboards . . . none of these things will function correctly until you bribe them with chocolate and tell them a joke.

(But what would they do with chocolate, I hear you say? Who knows? Stop asking logical questions. Don't be silly. These are irrational demands here.)

I hope none of you have finals due on Thursday, or last-minute papers to write. *g*

Also, as a grand finale to the Revolt of The Laundry Machines, would anyone be up for spontaneously finding themselves in their underwear at some point, preferably as embarrassing as possible, on Friday? If y'all want to do that we'll go with it. If not, well, I'll cook up something else for Friday . . .

And Janet will be very grateful. Even if Sam mocks her for it, which she so totally will. :)

Damn it, I need a non-wee BFF icon. *goes to look at Brief Candle and Rite of Passage caps*

To call Daniel, or not to call Daniel? Hmmm.

Pax89 has some good ones, I think.

Oh, God, of course she should call Daniel!

Hee! Thanks!

Daniel can find some academic excuse for being in the library. Really.

Academic. Yeah. Suuure it is.

Liz freely admits that she's rarely there for academic purposes.

Excepting tests and finals and grade freak outs *pets*
