Andros is a Karovan and from a young age they are trained to develop telekinesis. With telekinesis Andros is capable of being able to float an object to him and he can use it to his advantage in getting out of certain situations (in an episode of Power Rangers in Space he used his telekinesis to use a cutting tool so that he could free the other Rangers who were tied up).
