Brainstorming Post! [7/16/08]

Hello, all, and happy Wednesday! To maybe help you get through the middle of the week, here be the first of the brainstorming posts. Per the poll results from yesterday we'll be posting these every two weeks, although depending on the traffic the posts may get scaled back to monthly.

Format-wise we're still in beta-testing mode, so pardon our dust and the OCD threads here may not end up being the standard.

Anyway! Got a rudimentary idea for a plot? An idea that isn't quite a plot and you can't quite figure out how to make it one? A plot idea you'd love to see, but doesn't fit any of your characters? Something you want to throw out there for people to play with? Thoughts on possible cracky weekend events? A story arc you want to adapt for your character, but you need people to fill in some roles? Here's where all of that goes.

PLEASE NOTE that this is brainstorming only, and any plots formulated here are still subject to admin approval.

All that said, jump on in and brainstorm away (but not in the Valdemaran sense, we hope)!

[[Bit o'OCD coming up!]]

yep! It was a random thing I had Murdock shoot off (since he does that ;) but OOCly I've been thinking about it more. I think it would really rock to have a setting where the adults can 'cut loose' without having to worry about the kids seeing them.

I'm sure Lacey could get all kinds of help, especially if there's a sign on the community board.

And of course, Murdock would be happy to plan ICly! Oooh - can he do party favors? *snerk*

Suggestion: Grads-who-haven't-left included? Otherwise Xander's not too likely to be cutting loose. (Which was also a problem with the Policeman's Ball this year, but given he and Bridge were the only ones affected, it wasn't really worth worrying about at the time)

Why not?

They're technically 'adults' now and basically the whole 'no kids' bit is that some teacher (and possibly other townies) characters ICly won't feel comfortable just hanging out and being adults where they know a student could see them.

Basically, that whole 'must appear to be a responsible teacher' shtick. :D
