Character Ability Tally!! (because the memes weren't eating your afternoon enough)

WATCH ME SHAMELESSLY USE THE SAME POST AGAIN.

(I wrote it. I'm allowed to cannibalize it. Hush.)

In an effort to keep things a little more organized for plottishness and so on, we're going to ask a quick favor of you all.

Could you please reply to each appropriate comment below, and let us know what kind of powers/abilities/etc your character possesses? This is for all characters - students/alumni, teachers and townies - and covers everything including especially good researching/support skills, magic, skill with weaponry, mutations and so on. This is mandatory for all characters, and we would appreciate it ASAP though there is no specific deadline.

Anything that is a canon1 power or ability of your character and could be used in a plot in some way, please list below in the correct thread. Temporary powers for specific plots do not need to be noted now.

Please be as thorough as possible, as this will help everyone out with plots and knowing who can fill what roles.

Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to do this!

(And naturally, there will be threads, so please wait for the rather long OCD or I will have to kill something Done! Have at it.)

1 In this instance, "canon" does refer to FH canon as well. If your character at this time has honed their fighting skills or anything like that, please do make sure to note that. For guidelines on characters picking up abilities, please see this post.

2 For those of you who had characters around the last couple years and just want to C&P what you put in the post then, here are some shiny links for you.

Rikku is your party's thief, for anyone versed in the Final Fantasy terminology. For those not: she'd be your go-to girl for pickpocketing. She can even attack a monster and punch it while rifling through its pockets. She can probably lift your wallet without you realizing it.

She's also an Alchemist. She's the one who keeps all the weird random bits and mixes up two of them to make a water bomb, or a healing potion, or a protective shell, or about a billion other combinations. Most of the combinations are explosives.

Rikku can hold her breath for around 10-15 minutes underwater. This is somehow a skill that certain people in her world learn, and not a magical ability; out of your seven playable characters, only three of them can do it. (It's not just the three of them: there's an entire sport in her world that takes place underwater.) In Eternal Calm (a standalone video which falls between Final Fantasy X and its sequel), Yuna is learning this skill and mentions "there's a trick to it," but that's all the explanation you ever get in canon. Rikku is teaching this skill to Reno, in Fandom; he's up to about six minutes.

Rikku also has a knack with mechanical things, and likes to spend her spare time taking apart electronics and putting them back together.

Also, Rikku can upgrade weapons and armor. If you need a sword to have Flamestrike on it, or a defensive item that lets you go faster than your enemies? She's your girl.
