Brainstorming Tiems!

Massive apologies for being failboat on this last month, guys. You can . . . throw things at me, or something. Just nothing with peanuts in it; I'm allergic. ;)

So you know how this goes -- any ideas you wanna brainstorm, toss 'em in the appropriate (or most appropriate) sections below! The OCD's up and good to go. You're safe from gum-spitting.

For the stuff that's vague and needs fleshing out, or the stuff that might grow up to be a real idea someday if you feed it enough creative input.

I have no idea if this would actually work, but it came up at lunch with a bunch of FHers the other day.

A random event of "Choose Your Own Adventure" where each post ends with different options the other characters can take. Or each ping. Or every fifth ping. Something. I'm not sure how it would work best. Or if it would work at all.

Lately I've been kicking around the idea of Layla having to use her ability to do something other than just cracky or good things for people. So if your character needs to go through some serious bad sh!t ping me via e-mail and I'll be happy to help out.

Of course any of this will need to wait a few weeks from now due to some RL stuff.

Diana has not been causing enough mayhem lately. If you need something random to happen to your character, poke me. And I mean random ranging from "gets turned into a coconut" to "hooks up with love of life" to "has purple hair for the day".

Jack would look good with purple hair. *poke*

For the . . . more specific stuff. Imagine that!

I think Raven's rapidly approaching the point where she needs to accidentally make people fall in love with her. I know I had a few potential volunteers when I first mentioned it, but the more the merrier -- with the caveat that they should be people Raven at least has a passing acquaintance with and actually likes. With one exception. ;)

Would it be wrong to suggest Worf? Not that Raven has any affection for him, of course. It's just that Klingon courtship rituals? Always fun.

Just ask Katchoo.

HEEE. Worf would definitely be acceptable.

Oh please please please can this happen to Bobby? Stuff like this is so very canon for him.

Hee, yeah. I got caught up in other plotty stuff and RL crap and it totally slipped my mind, argh.

Got something character/canon specific someone else might find useful? Someone might be able to give it a loving plotty home if you put it here.

Claire recently learned that her blood can heal other people, so if you're going to be mean to your character and need healing, she's your gal :D

Also, because I am lazy and don't want to spam, Joan can get instructions from God to help with plots.

I have a Constellation Kitty who can totally be used to know what should not be known. Vague powers of vague can probably be vagued to fit a plothole shape. Or in other words, Pounce is a fish eating Deus Ex Machina and I'm willing to put him to use (within the bounds of what he's allowed to do).

Maybe it wears a spiked collar or refuses to acknowledge gender roles or . . . maybe it just doesn't fit into any of the above.

Look, just because it's raining in L.A. and that makes people act all "OMG STUFF FROM THE SKY DOOM DOOM" (seriously, people here, WTF) doesn't mean we should bring about the end of the world.

I just wanna sleep, though.

Dude, we get way more rain in this area and people still run around going "OMG STUFF FROM THE SKY" when it rains.

Well, okay, so mostly when it freezing rains. But same thing.

It's the part where the first rainstorm of the year hits and all the news weather reporters are on TV in their parkas with stunned expressions, talking to the camera like OMG THIS HAS NEVER EVER HAPPENED BEFORE that gets me.

Oh man, that'd be totally priceless.

It's actually quite warm out here. *grin* I remember one time last year when it was raining and I went out in shorts and t-shirt and flip-flops. In late November. I love LA. :)

The temperature I could get behind. But man, I think I'd go batty in that kind of sunshine all the time. . . .

*boggles at you* I went batty living in foggy no-sun SF. I can't imagine going batty in sunshine.

And what's really funny is that I'm a sun sign.

I prefer a mixture of both, actually.

I'm...not sure what sign I am. I like night fall, but I get so grouchy without sunshine.
