Since some canons have canon genre fans and fanboys/girls (like Tony's canon and oh, hi SPN!), what about having an on-island ComicCon? Or would that involve too much meta'ing for our brains?

My first thought is that it might be a touch messy -- for instance, X:WP canon actually does establish that there's a Xena-and-Gabrielle fandom, based off Gabrielle's scrolls, which I'm given to understand is pretty similar to the premise going on in SPN. Then there's fictional in-canon fandoms that aren't related to the main characters, and ones that have some connection to the characters, and it kind of runs the gamut.

That said, if there was a way to balance all that out I think it'd be a really fun idea, although it is a seriously daunting amount of meta to think about.

Fandom Weirdness makes characters come out of the TV and come to life (no meta'd FH characters without explicit approval).

Cluckitis! For a day (or two), students catch a bug that causes them to sneeze and turn into Muppet Chickens! It's canon! There'd still be some distinguishing feature for them to be identified by. For instance Robin would still have the ping pong eyes, or be green. Chuck would still be wearing the scarf.

Mostly a joke: Characters turn into their muns.
