I DON'T KNOW OMG.

I've been picking up bits and pieces of recent canon (while Ana mocks me), and some of it just makes me look like my icon. And I am still seriously creeped out by the cover with her kneeling in front of her brothers while practically wrapped around the leg of one. OMG WTF THIS IS NOT SUPERNATURAL OR HEROES.

My first first guess was of course, stuck out right behind her same angle, which would account for Jared/Wrath's grin.

My second look made me think her fist was on her hip, but it's impossible to tell.... and anyway, it's not like that Kneeling Herald look is going to be any less weird if she's keeping one hand to herself, thank you!

ANYWAY, subtext is terrifying, DC, CUT THAT OUT. Jeeeeez.

And please note Jared is holding hands with Jacob/Envy and Jesse/Lust. They're just keeping it in the family.

(FYI, yes, there's a J thing going on for some odd reason. Sloth is Jack, and Greed is James. Gluttony has not been named yet. I'm kinda hoping it's Jensen. ;)

...someone has a problem with people named J. For serious.

I find myself cranky that she's *not* the only child, just the only daughter of Trigon, because that makes a lot of what she went through seem unnecessarily harsh, you know? Gah.

although being a doorway to Heaven-Hell-and-Elsewhere is probably unique enough for *everyone*, wtf.

I know! They made such a big deal out of the fact that every time Trigon sired a child, it didn't survive childbirth, the mother killed it, or others hunted it down and killed it while it was still an infant. Raven was the only child that survived only because she was in Azarath.

Except for those other six kids over there. *sigh* And, oh yeah, you're a deadly sin. Enjoy!

That makes me splutter. It's just so Biblical, and it's like that one straw too many when you have superheroes. Except it's not the first or even 10th time in DCVerse to get into gods and demons as well as Superman and other heroes, it's just... and they.... *splutter*

I'm sorry, the Endless are cool, this concept kind of deletes cool as it is printed. Oy.
