Because I totally have to bring it up every now and then:

Daleks.

(Okay, also because I STILL can't remember what it was I was all like "ooo, I have to bring that up in the next brainstorming post!" about)

I suppose I should drop a line here now and go 'so Kerrigan's kind of evil, you know?'. If you need someone to mess with your head/play bad-guy-from-the-shadows or anything like it (provided it doesn't end in her being run out of Fandom, obviously) she's at your disposal.

... I need to stop apping characters that let me add to my list of 'so if you need your head ___'ed with...'

Ooh. I should throw Azula in Kerrigan's direction and see how that goes!

Magic! If someone needs a particularly multifaceted magician to mess with something, cast a spell wrongly, or poke at the wrong thing to poke -so totally not dirty...I think-, Zatanna can do the job.

Specially if the job means screwing something up. In that case, she can't, but that's what you want. She can also do it right! Not the wrong-doing, but atcualy doing something magical correctly.

You get the idea.

Azula is also there if you need someone to play bad! She's sociopathic and still kinda crazy! With bonus fire and lightning powers to boot! Also, if you want your character trained in kung-fu the Bending Arts, she'll likely take you up on that.

Asuna has Magic Cancel, so if you somehow need your magic to go awry, Asuna is the person you call!

Does anyone know when OMWF Day will be this year? Unless it's the on-island plot for the 18th, I'm not seeing it...

EDIT: I have been reminded that that's prolly the 3MD. In that case, can I put this forward as a gentle reminder/much begging to be scheduled?

OMWF hasn't been scheduled yet! It's a floating event, so though we do usually do it once a year or so, there's not a set season for it.

I think the last one was in July of '09 (unless I missed it this year?), so here's at least one request for it to be scheduled before year's end.

On one hand, I hate you. On the other, at least it got "F*ck You" out of my head, since my morning has been:

I see you drivin' round town with the girl that I love,
And I'm like shit can't sing that here.

PRETTY MUCH.

And yes, I just sang that aloud to see if it scanned, and it does. Sigh.

OK, am I the only one over 30 who's totally immune to Schoolhouse Rock earworms? (I was totally unaware of the show until it turned into a hipster thing in the mid-90s.)

I feel all inadequate.

HIGH FIVE, BABY.

Since I know we're from the same general area, maybe it didn't air in the Pittsburgh market for whatever reason? We should do a survey.

Because that wouldn't be geeky at all ;-).

So that's three for "Schoolhouse Rock was less of a childhood thing around Pittsburgh than it was elsewhere."

I feel we are on to something. It may be crack.

Wasn't big during my childhood in CT, either. Or do I not get to play because I'm still (just barely) under 30?

I remember it, but only because the mid-90's hipster revival started around the same time I was entering high school, I think.

Re: OOC

[identity profile] onapalebicycle.livejournal.com 2010-09-15 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahahahaha. We might be on to something. Pittsburgh: NOT INTERESTED IN SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK.

[identity profile] bamf-tastic.livejournal.com 2010-09-15 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Not just Pittsburgh. I never saw it, either, and I grew up in the Baltimore/Washington market. Of course, maybe I was just watching other things while it was on.
