Brainstorming Time!

Um, I might have spaced on this last month, but... holidays, so yay? Anyway! I know SOMEONE has been waiting for this, and I am in no way looking pointedly at YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Here be your more-or-less monthly brainstorming post, wherein you do that thing. With the suggesting new ideas and possibly developing on previously proposed ones.

For just one of Fandom's weird days, I was thinking soapbox day. Basically, at any point in a conversation, people would find themselves standing on a soapbox and giving a mini-lecture on something important to them: the rights of Animals, fezzes are cool, down with the mutant registration act, selling kids into slavery is bad, the importance of being earnest fashion, blue is the best color ever.

It doesn't have to be the same subject every time and it doesn't have to be a serious topic. Anything that someone feels strongly about can earn them a soapbox moment, and then they step off of it and feel rather silly. Or maybe proud to have made their point. Or maybe they ignore it. Whatevs.

Do you honestly want to tempt me to have Faramir give a mini-lecture? I can't get him to be concise without Fandom's interference! *g*

You can always have him fall off the soapbox, mid-lecture? Of course, I think Faramir's adorable, so I'd probably end up reading the whole thing anyway.
