20 Years Reunion Brainstorming

Backstory I've worked out so far: Romeo and Dōjima spent several more years in Japan than originally planned, staying until Dōjima's mission was complete. Of course at that point, her cover was utterly blown as a result of events and she was of no further use to the SOLOMON Intelligence Division as a spy. Theoretically. What other work she may be doing for them is the source of constant speculation amongst the STN-J staff.

They stayed a few more years while Romeo finished his Master's degree, and Dōjima became the new Chief of the the SNT-J when Kosaka was promoted to Administrator. While the majority of the Dōjima holdings have gone to one of her male cousins, Yurika acts as CEO for a few of the family's older, quieter Osaka properties and businesses, as an inheritance for their children.
Moving to Verona meant a change of job, and Dōjima made a call to a number on a small card, one she'd kept since her days at Fandom High. To say Sarah Walker was pleased to hear she was now on the market without having been served a burn notice would be an understatement, and Dōjima now works for the CIA. In four or five years, she'll leave the field to train rookies, but for now, she's a very very good agent, specializing in quick infiltration missions.
How she could fit into your character's backstory: Is it even possible to pry that phone out of her grasp while she's still alive? Good friends got texts, emails, YouTube videos, Dōji's still very much Dōji and happily harassing her friends. Also, she's probably blackmailed you into babysitting at some point.
