Character Name: Jack Priest
Age at the Reunion: ... lord, 41.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Lived on the island, worked at Devil's Nest, and hung out with Derek and friends until he'd finally finished law school and paid off most of his loans. He also taught when the spirit moved him. About nine years ago, he and Emma realized they were finally in a position to plan the future they wanted and this happened.
How Your Character Can Fit In: See Ahddie's comment. And Jack managed to get a law license in most realities, so if you want to refer to him having dealt with a character's "interesting" problems, go for it.
Also, I'm changing the PB before the weekend, because Ed Speleers is turning into Simon Baker as he ages. Whee.
