I should probably sic the ones I've got figured out in here while I still have power:

Character Name: Liara T'Soni
Age at the Reunion: 65
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: She's an archaeologist! Which means she gets to put 'Doctor' in front of her name and has just spent a year alone on a dig whilst warding off pirates like woah.
How Your Character Can Fit In: She's probably not been super-chatty with everyone since she's very reclusive, but I'm open to ideas!

Character Name: Peter Wiggin
Age at the Reunion: 37
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: He's King of the World! No, seriously. He's Hegemon of what amounts to the United States of Earth (minus the USA) AKA the Free People of Earth. He's married to Petra Arkanian and raises both her kids from her previous marriage and the ones she had with him because Petra is kriffing mad. Yay.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Chances are he's probably kept you on his mailing list. If you think your character would've made an effort to stay in contact, he would've responded. And hell, if you think they might've wound up working for Peter in some capacity, let me know.

Character Name: Kaidan Alenko
Age at the Reunion: 54
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: The Reapers hath come and gone. Shepard's dead and Kaidan's an Admiral now. He's living on his own in the heart of Vancouver and he's starting to date again. He's also totally grey. Poor boy.
How Your Character Can Fit In: IDK but I'm game for a lot - Kaidan's the kind of guy who'd at least attempt to keep up some kind of correspondence.

Starting with the cleanest and simplest one, la la la...

Character Name: April Ludgate
Age at the Reunion: 40, oh god.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: After a while in Fandom, April moved back to Indiana to go to veterinary school. She now runs a pretty successful animal clinic on the Pawnee/Eagleton border, where she has to, like, do things, but it's crazy rewarding. Yeah, it weirds her out too.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Nothing specific but I'm open to a lot. She probably kept in touch with her friends. Maybe she's the reason someone's now super-elderly cat is still breathing. IDK.

Also if anyone knows of a PB that looks like a 40-year-old Aubrey Plaza, gimme, 'cause April is one where I don't have anyone in mind yet.

Character Name: Victor Mancha
Age at the Reunion: "38" (Or 25ish, depending on how you count.)
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: So, he's doing this. He's an Avenger on a robocentric team. He's managed not to go evil and destroy the world yet -- go him -- and he's starting to feel like the danger of that might have passed. He's married to Molly Hayes, who's a teacher of the younger kids at at the Jean Grey School, and they have two elementary school-aged children of their own.
How Your Character Can Fit In: He'd have kept in touch on and off, and he'd also be a comfortable C-list hero -- not incredibly famous, but Marvel characters might know what he's up to even if they don't talk to him often.

Character Name: Bay Kennish
Age at the Reunion: 37
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Bay went to the Rhode Island School of Design and then spent a few years as an art chick in New York before moving back to Kansas City to be closer to her family. She's a reasonably respected artist who manages a gallery as a day job. Not married yet, no kids.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Bay's not incredibly social, but she's around enough that you probably hear from her once in a while. If you have any more specific ideas, I'm game.

Character Name: Jim Kirk
Age at the Reunion: 36
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: By the time the reunion rolls around, Jim's gone through all his canon thus far (Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness) and come back for the mission of exploration. He'll be about to head back into space but will try to fit the reunion in.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Due to the whole space thing, contact with him won't be easy and he'll be super busy due to being a commanding officer of a ship. But, he'll do his best and people would get occasional messages from him.

Because I am MEAN:

Character Name: Tara Maclay-Rosenberg
Age at the Reunion: 39
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: So ... canon happened, except Tara did not actually die. And because she was not dead, nothing happened between Kennedy and Willow except some flirtation (sorry, Kennedy). She and Willow traveled the world helping with slayer training, but they're starting to slow down and recently bought a house in Santa Cruz.
How Your Character Can Fit In: She's kept in touch and has helped with assorted magical issues in other people's lives when she could!

Note: If somebody's from a reality where she's dead, that's totally cool with me -- feel free to gawk at the living dead girl or whatever.

Character Name: Gertrude Yorkes / "Heroine"
Age at the Reunion: 35
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: After surprisingly not dying young, Gert became leader of the Avengers in her corner of the Marvel universe under the codename Heroine. She got over the whole 'superheroes bad, amateur heroing good' thing in part because the future she lives in is a little crappy and under major attack by Victorious (hi, Victor!) and big name heroes with killer dinosaurs were kind of needed. She's not married or dating anyone (the thing with Chase didn't work out for whatever reason) and she's really busy with the Avengers, but she's going to manage to take a couple days for the reunion.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Gert probably kept in touch and maybe took some friends on a few adventures over the years. Because this timeline probably doesn't line up with everyone else's, Marvel folks may or may not have heard of her, but if not, it'll probably come as a bit of a surprise to hear what she's been up to.

Oh, and she looks like Meg from Supernatural, la.

Character Name: Samantha Traynor
Age at the Reunion: 46
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Sam went through ME3 canon right along with Kaidan, and in the process, lost a lot of her green-ness and became a little bit more comfortable with actiony settings. She even saved the Normandy with her toothbrush one time. After Shepard died defeating the Reapers, there wasn't much need for technicians serving on warships, but Sam didn't want to return to lab work, so she helped a lot with technological reconstruction in the areas that were hit hard. She's very well regarded as a technical expert in the Alliance these days.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Sam probably kept tabs on people -- she is a communications specialist, after all -- so if someone's a friend of hers and hasn't been hiding, there's a chance she'll know what they've been up to.
However, she probs won't be showing up at the reunion, so this is mostly for other characters' knowledge than anything else.

Character Name: Topher Brink
Age at the Reunion: 35
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: For a while, Topher kept in touch with everyone, gleefully informing his friends of his progress through MIT and grad school in way fewer years than it should have taken him. Then something weird happened and he fell off the grid. That's when he was hired by the Dollhouse, this super-shady Los Angeles futuristic brothel type place where he's chief programmer responsible for making the mind-wiped "dolls," or Actives, think they're other people. Topher hasn't told anyone because he had to sign about a thousand NDAs in order to work there, which is torture because he thinks his job is so cool and wants to gush about it to everyone. He lives in the Dollhouse building and is very, very lonely, but he's doing challenging science that he loves and his genius is appreciated, so at least there's that.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Any really close friends of his who are especially persistent or tech-savvy can be aware of where he's working and are free to call him out on it. (Just talk to me about it; the Dollhouse is very secretive, so Topher for sure hasn't told anyone directly -- it would have taken a bit of hacking to find this out.) I would love it very much if people were to approach him about his career choice and maybe not be very nice about it, because really, what the hell, Topher?
Also, because I thought of this on the train and it amuses me, he might have sent Actives to work for or casually make friends with people he knew in high school, just for funsies. I'd be happy to figure out how that might have gone if anyone thinks that might apply to them.

Character Name: Paddra Nsu-Yeul
Age at the Reunion: ???
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Yeul died before graduating Fandom and was reborn on Gran Pulse and she and Caius have been living their immortal lives much the way they did before Yeul ever went to Fandom since. I haven't decided if she'll have died twice in the twenty year span or not, which is why her age is unknown right now. If she's only died once, she'll be just a couple of years older than she is now. If she's died twice, she'll be younger than she is now. Either way, she'll be in full possession of her memories and will be much the same as she is currently.
How Your Character Can Fit In: If they know about her lives (or are her friends and presumably would know about her lives before she, uh, dies) and would have kept in contact, then she would be in contact with them.

Character Name: Andrew Wiggin
Age at the Reunion: 37-ish
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: For once not a traumatic AU omg! Ender and Ben have made it all the way to Trondheim. Three kids - Valentine, Nat and Kol. They haven't been to Lusitania yet, but Ender's been a Speaker for a long while. They've probably only been sporadically in contact with you all.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Well... see the above. Ender probably hasn't been the most active correspondent, if he's kept up communication at all.

Character Name: Sam LaCroix
Age at the Reunion: 38
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Sam'll still be necromancing it up in Seattle but he'll have ascended to the head of the Council where he'll be trying to change how things run, for the better. He'll be single though Brid will still be in the picture. He'll be mourning the loss of his mother, who will have died recently and keeping tabs on his sister as well.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Sam's not moving from Seattle and he's more than happy to have people come visit his big estate. He'll put them up for however long they might need it. He'll still be in contact though he'll keep the darker parts of his life to himself. I'm open for all things here, though.

Character Name: Marasiah Fel
Age at the Reunion: 36
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: After high school Sia probably dropped off the radar a bit thanks to that whole war thing, though she did get in touch when she was able. And then after that she was slightly busy with that whole being Empress thing. She's been ruling the Empire as part of the Triumvirate ever since with varying degrees of success, married an Imperial Knight, and probably has a kid by now to keep the line of succession going.
How Your Character Can Fit In: I'm not 100% sure Sia will actually be showing up because that might be more spoilery than I want to get into, but if you think she kept in touch with you, she totally did. (Which means if you want to know about the princess thing, here's your chance.)

Oh and for the off-island folks!

Character Name: John Mitchell
Age at the Reunion: 140-ish.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: He's alive. That's pretty much all I've got. I'm not even sure if he's going to be showing up (I'll decide later), but: very much alive and up to his old tricks, even if George and Nina are much older now and have that kid and he might be living somewhere else.

He pops in on the people he cares about. Occasionally. Sometimes he doesn't even bring trouble.
How Your Character Can Fit In: See above! If you want your guys to have been in contact with him, I'm cool with that. If you want any terrible That Time Something Supernatural Happened, he's available as a catch-all 'he dragged me into that', too.
ETA: Also he's now running a vegan vampire support group at Jack and Emma's. YEP. I guess that means I'll have to have him show up now... ;)



Character Name: Sarah Kerrigan
Age at the Reunion: ... it doesn't really matter.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: She 75% sure won't be at the reunion, but: she's been dezerged and then rezerged with her full sanity intact. So she's now a kind of weird benevolent zerg super-queen. As you do. She lead her zerg through the latest crisis and now they're basically doing the species-wide equivalent of taking a gap year.
How Your Character Can Fit In: If you know Kerrigan, you know about all this. It's up to you if they decide to keep in contact.

Character Name: Maddie Berry
Age at the Reunion: 36
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Maddie is actually kinda evil! She rejoined Avengers Academy, only things didn't work out quite as the Avengers had hoped, and so now she's part of the group that does things like go back in time to screw things up so their timeline happens correctly. (Which means she'll be trying to mess with Maddie's life here some.) Around 26 Maddie's body lost cohesion, turning her into a walking ghost. She's somehow managed to find a way to turn solid for short amounts of time since then, but that's the best she can do.
How Your Character Can Fit In: She probably kept in touch really well at first and then just lost contact with people, though anyone in Marvel is totally able to know her/know her as Veil is totally welcome to!

Character Name: Emma Grace Frost
Age at the Reunion: 40

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Oh lord Marvel.

Emma Frost will have done Hellfire and ruled as the White Queen, TOTALLY had a fling with Namor (canon, Jack invited), Hellions died, coma, taught at Xavier's, quit, Genosha (because I'm terrible), and tried (briefly) being an X-Man before flinging up her hands at the "Heroes" in-general and leaving after another bout of Phoenix-nonsense (and well-before the Phoenix Five).

Nine years ago, this place opened, and Emma Frost is currently the premier therapist working with metahuman issues, specializing in traumatic manifestations and psionics.

Eight years ago, Emma and Jack got married. The triplets are now seven, have been kicked out of their after-school care again, and they're hiring Slayer-nannies from Kennedy because have you met the Frost-Priest children? Really?

How Your Character Can Fit In: Confirmed offices at Park Avenue include Eric Northman's latest enterprise, Mitchell's weekly vegan vampire support meetings, Warren's Kaeleeran Market Exchange, and a branch of Kennedy's Slayers. Other offices TBA.

Character Name: Envy Adams
... For marketing purposes just Envy. Nat to her dad, En to her husband, N.V. on her nametag at this reunion, Natalie Valentine Lee Adams on official paperwork.
Age at the Reunion: 40-ish. Specific age none of your damn business.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Envy, being about 15+ years post-canon, hasn't responded to her original name from anyone but her parents for the last two decades, but has also been a more or less relevant figure in art rock for about the same amount of time, having gone solo when she was 25 and stayed that way ever since. She's used her Fandom past as a gateway into spreading her music across several universes to great acclaim, is the head of her own record/multimedia company (although the day-to-day business is naturally handled by other people), and basically a multiversal indie rock queen.

Also, she's married to Lucas Lee. Yes, that Lucas Lee. He's won a couple of Oscars by now. Their wedding a couple of years ago would have been kind of a big deal had they not eloped.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Envy would have kept in touch with the few good friends she has, provided they managed to put up with her during her kind of fame-obsessed mid-twenties where she turned into a bitch for a minute. Also, if there are people who'd have worked for her company at some point, I'd be open to that.

Other than that, she's also multiversally famous in moddable universes, so I'm more than cool with people going "holy crap Envy Adams went to my school?!" even if they don't know her in the mainstream timeline at all. SOMEONE ASK HER FOR AN AUTOGRAPH.

Character Name: Surreal SaDiablo
Age at the Reunion: 38-ish? But because she's Blood and from one of the longer-lived races, she still looks twenty. And will look twenty until she's at least a hundred.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Surreal graduated, and Sadi upheld his end of the deal: she spent the next decade training at one of the best Red Moon House schools as a courtesan, as well as lessons from people all over the Realms in other skills.

Namely, she's one of the up-and-coming best assassins you can ever hope to hire, if you're elite enough to know her name and her real profession. Especially if you're looking for poisons or blade-work.

How Your Character Can Fit In: Surreal's 'day job' of being a courtesan is totally out there for people to know about, if you think you'd have heard about it from her or someone else. She's very highly paid, and very good at her job. Her 'real' occupation as an assassin in kept a closer secret, and you probably don't know about that unless you've used her services.

Age at the Reunion: 38 I think?
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: She successfully enacted her revenge, but "at a great price" (no idea what just yet) and is actually living a new life somewhere remote. She's a bit of a bitter person, yep.
How Your Character Can Fit In: COMPLETELY HERMETIC. That is to say, this Emily didn't keep in touch with anyone ever for any reason in particular.

...Unless of course someone wants Emily to have done stuff with them. With the right timing she might have came clean about herself to a number of people, I think, so that might be interesting to play with. Otherwise? Not so much.

Character Name: Percy Jackson (and Luke Castellan to a point)
Age at the Reunion: Near 40
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Percy and Luke will still be headquartered in New York and they will have been blessed by the Gods with a bundle of joy! Namely, Aristaeus, the God of Beekeeping, or the brattiest brat to ever brat. Percy will have finally gone through canon and will not be a counselor at Camp Half Blood. Luke's gonna be dead because Sam said I could write anything and she'd agree doing his own thing as a security consultant. And they will still argue like they are teenagers.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Percy won't be great at keeping up communication but Luke will probably be better. They're both going to be settled in NY and not reclusive so feel free to have your character hear from them every once in awhile.

Character Name: Stiles Hale-Stilinski. Oh yes.
Age at the Reunion: 38, good god.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Stiles is a detective! Solving mysteries as the Stilinskis do. And, yes, he's married to Derek. It's not the love story you think it is. It was mostly friends with benefits that everybody assumed were dating and they got married in what was half a dare and half the opportunity for a really nice toaster.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Stiles would have kept everybody up to date on what was going on and if you think you would have been invited to his and Derek's wedding, you were.
