Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: As per canon, Tahani goes back to London where she becomes a museum curator, event planner, co-anchor with Anderson Cooper, muse to Baz Lehrmann, etc., etc., etc. She dies by being crushed by a giant golden statue of her sister Kamilah at Kamilah's party celebrating her acceptance into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Tahani was in her late 20s when she died. And she died in Cleveland, which you know haunts her in the Good Place.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Oh, everyone can know how Tahani died.

Age at the Reunion: Somewhere in her late 40s... ?
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: This version of Yasha never made it back to Fandom from the canon catchup she's currently (very very slowly, shut up) going through. She lived through the rest of canon (with some retcons to her Fandom backstory -- see below), which of course means she ended up with Beau, got her closure re: her tribe and finding Zuala's grave, and has largely retired from adventuring except for every now and then when the Mighty Nein get back together and something goes awry as it always does when they're all in one place.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Anyone who knew her before can wonder where the hell she disappeared to for all those years!
Character Name: Beauregard Lionett
Age at the Reunion: 45-ish
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: This version of Beau also never made it back to Fandom or to the 616 version of Los Angeles from this canon catchup. She also, in an attempt to help a friend (being vague as this is a variant on something that will be happening in the canon catchup), agreed to a deal that involved walking away from her post-Fandom life and sacrificing her memories of it, resulting in an altered/retconned reality where she and Karolina broke up and she went back to Exandria to live out the rest of her canon, rather than the two of them leaving Fandom and moving to California together. She and Yasha ended up getting together and moving to Rexxentrum (the capital of the Dwendalian Empire), where as a full-fledged Expositor of the Cobalt Soul she spent most of her time working with Caleb to root out the corruption in the Empire's institutions. It's playing a very long game indeed, and an ongoing job, so that's what she's still doing. Basically being a super badass spy working on dismantling a corrupt governmental body.
How Your Character Can Fit In: As with Yasha, anyone who knew her can wonder where the hell she disappeared to, but also is more than welcome to clue in from conversation that her (and Yasha's) backstories have been altered.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Jo decided to not move back to England and the 1950s after graduation and chose to stay and live at Fandom. She has been working as a teacher since then and she teaches etiequtte classes. Her parents disproved of her deciding to stay in Fandom and become a teacher and effectively cut her off, so she doesn’t have anything to do with her family and old life anymore. She eventually started wearing more modern clothes and now wears jeans and trousers quite regularly but she hasn't completely adapted to modern life.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Well Jo’s a teacher so you can know her through that and she tries to be fairly social in Fandom especially since she never returned home.

Age at the Reunion: 36 and 52
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Right now, I'm thinking I'm going to go (mostly) straight canon with these two, since they're both pre-canon and on the same timeline. So things go along with Canon as Usual, Graham becomes a Knight of Daventry and then Edward makes him his heir and (spoiler alert for a game series as old as I am) become King. Once king, Graham entices Amaya back to Daventry with a sweet contract because the other blacksmith kind of sucks, and that then puts them through Chapter 2 and Chapter 3, where it's mostly Graham getting Daventry back on its feet again and then questing and getting married to one of the Valanices, who will, at the time of the reunion, be pregnant with the twins. Amaya is definitely in the throes of fiercely denying any sort of relationship with Whisper at this point, too.
How Your Character Can Fit In: This mostly means that Graham's pretty much got much bigger things on his plate after he competes in the Tournament of Knights next year, and then, about a year after that, Amaya, too, leaves Fandom for Daventry, so the KQ crew would have been gone for a bit before returning for the reunion, unless there's anything else anyone would want to throw at me. I welcome any friends of Graham to have been receiving occasional Royal Correspondence from the King, though! He would definitely keep in touch!

Character Name: Dwight Hendrickson
Age at the Reunion: 57
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Dwight left Fandom a few years- let's call it five for sake of easy time tracking- after coming to the island. He goes back to Haven and ends up taking over The Guard when Vince and Dave leave/retire/die/whatever (those Teagues boys are hard to get rid of!)Anyways, Dwight takes over and ends up basically running the town alongside the new sheriff. He makes improvements and gets things cleaned up, ends a lot of the secrecy surrounding the town and works to make it a safer and better place. He's been doing this for 10+ years at the time of the reunion and still has work to do but is proud of what he has accomplished. His dreams of ending the Troubles once and for all has pretty much faded into cold acceptance that things are as they are- and Dwight has a few more bullet scars to show for the passage of time.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Anyone close to Dwight is welcome to say he has been keeping in touch and letting them know how things are going. This version of Dwight is likely to be a bit more reserved and a bit cold- hes seen things in addition to everything else that lead him to coming to fandom 20 years ago. The dream of ending the Troubles is gone and all the work he has done for Haven and the Trouble people in the town and elsewhere as he travels has taken its toll on him. everything he has seen and done and experienced has changed him in some ways and as he keeps trying to do the best he can has have been slowly losing himself to that effort. He coming back to fandom to see people and the place he had once hoped would have been a new home and family for him and still feels a connection to the place and people, even if it has been nearly 15 years since he's been back.
Oh! And TOTALLY open for any plotting and planning and scheming anyone wants to do!
Character Name: Kurt Wagner
Age at the Reunion: 36-37
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Kurt finished up his schooling at Fandom High and graduated. A few years after, around age 21 he joined the X-Men team as an official member and started joining the team on smaller missions and such. Time has passed, Kurt has matured, and though still with a sense of humor he is much more grown up and serious now. Alternate reality of Kurt not based really on any current Marvel/X-men story lines or timelines. Kurt is married now to a human named Lucas- who unfortunately was not able to make it to the reunion.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Kurt kept in touch with the friends he made in Fandom and anyone who knows Kurt and wants to can say they talked and that they even visited him now and then when he was between missions. I'm even open to any of his friends saying they had been invited to/attended the wedding if they want! He's come back to see the place again and to see about recommending a new group of young mutants to come to the island, just as he did years ago.
Also, TOTALLY open for any plotting and planning and scheming anyone wants to do!

Age at the Reunion: 34
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: So Guillermo went through high school and graduated and then took a job working at Panera Bread where he met Nandor, discovers that he’s a vampire and agrees to be his familiar in exchange for being turned into a vampire. Cue him being a familiar still 16 years later and he still hasn’t being turned into a vampire, even though the last three years he has been a body guard as well. He is single and he is still working through his complicated feelings for Nandor and hasn’t quite acknowledged them but he is slowly realising that he is actually in love with him and he doesn’t quite know what to do about that.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Guillermo would definitely have kept in touch with everyone and most of his news would be about the various shenanigans he gets up to while living with the vampires, including the news about him being a descendant from Van Helsing and that any day now he is going to be turned into a vampire (he has been saying this for the last 16 years as well)
He is also going to be bringing one of the camera crew along to the reunion to follow him around at his old high school for the documentary that they are still filming, if anyone wants to take part in that as well

Age at the Reunion: MIA -- vanished about fifteen years ago
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: At age twenty-five, while in the midst of battling a magical incursion, Illyana Rasputin, Sorcerer Supreme of Limbo and apprentice to the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth-18133, sacrificed herself so that her mentor and friends could escape. A massive working of multiple schools of magic (and teleportation) that remains unrivaled in anything any magic user has done before or since. She didn't just save her family, or the Earth -- she saved her entire reality.
She's still out there, somewhere. If she was dead, Strange would know. The apprentice lives, but no one can find her.
How Your Character Can Fit In: The first place Strange, Wong, Clea, and her Kitty and Wanda would have looked to see if she was thrown off-course in that teleport was Fandom. They probably attempted to use Portalocity to find her, and plastered the place with magical missing persons posters, that never fade or fall apart, with her face.
Everyone knows what happened to Illyana. There was probably a memorial service hosted by the people at Xavier's at some point, that Fandomites were invited to. Strange refused to attend, because she isn't dead. There's also a scholarship in her name at the school, for students who escaped horrible situations, and provides a monthly 'fun stuff' allowance, to let them try and be children instead of tiny, traumatized adults.
Wong probably still visits Fandom once a year, mostly to let himself meditate in the place that allowed Illyana to reclaim some of her childhood. They don't hope for clues anymore, but they are hoping that if they keep the lights on, she'll still find her way home.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: 20 years from now I'll probably still be working on this canon catchup, so Jaye will probably be about 3/4 through season one of Wonderfalls. She's still living in a trailer when she goes back home, is still the same age, wondering why the hell her old classmates have wrinkles, and probably bitched to some of them about finally having to meet the wife of the guy she likes and they're probably like "omfg it's been 30 years."
How Your Character Can Fit In: Jaye's popped in and out of Fandom for stretches so you can feel free to know her. She's probably been on radio the whole damn time.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Alexis is post-canon, living in New York and the CEO of Alexis Rose Communications, a moderately successful PR firm that she started a few years back. She's not at all where she planned to be, but she's happy, keeping in close touch with her family and making visits back to this little town in Canada you've never heard of. Also she's not married but is in a very happy long-term relationship with a guy she met through work who's probably like a 5 but they mesh really well. She's surprised too.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Alexis probably wasn't great at keeping in touch with most people and you may not have seen her since (spoiler) she missed graduation, but you may have seen the antics of her twenties in the gossip columns. Or heard also from the gossip columns about how her family lost all their money. Or heard of her mother, actress Moira Rose, who had a bit of a comeback. Also if you want to use her PR firm, she'd actually give you a little Fandom discount, just for you.

Age at the Reunion: 50 but looks basically the same. No Joe Biden this time.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Oh, we've finally gotten to Thanos and the Snap, friends. Twelve years from now, Thanos came to Earth, fought the Earth's Mightiest and etc., and snapped half of the universe out of existence for five years, including FH!Tony. Steve took this Extremely Poorly, made up with MCU!Tony in order to work out how to undo the "erasing half of humanity and probably also a shit-ton of mosquitoes" thing, defeated Thanos, brought back his Tony only for the MCU version to die in battle.
Steve is TOTALLY FINE ABOUT THIS. Ignore the grief beard and how he all but threw his shield at Sam and has been hiding in Fandom for the last three years.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Steve is back teaching military strategy at the school with a LOT of intensity, but took a five year break from being on the island. Now he hardly leaves it, so if you've been around, you know Steve.

Age at the Reunion: 50ish
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Steve and Danny went back to Hawai'i for a routine
episode catchupundercover operation pretending to be drug dealers. The mission went spectacularly wrong, ending with Steve getting shot up, Danny learning how to land a plane and then giving Steve a kidney so he didn't die. He and Danny didn't return to Fandom after the transplant, and Steve never really recovered (being summarily discharged from the Navy because he wasn't able to keep up with the Reserves' physical standards absolutely didn't help), and became more insular and closed off. He and Danny got into a huge fight when Steve's mother Doris popped up again, this time undercover in a Mexican cartel. Steve insisted on going to provide backup, Danny argued that this, again, was a huge waste of Steve's expertise and emotional energy and when Doris was killed in front of Steve, Steve just...never went back to Hawai'i.He disappeared in 2019, his canon time, so about five years before the Fandom reunion.
How Your Character Can Fit In: You can be as surprised as anyone that he actually shows up to this thing.

Age at the Reunion: 36
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Alara graduated Fandom and then continued with her plan to join the military outside of high school rather than go back to Xelaya and it was at this point that her relationship with her family became even further strained and she stopped talking to them all together - only sending sporadic letters to her sister to let her know about her various assignments and by the time she got promoted to Chief of Security on the Orville she had stopped contact all together.
She went through canon but after a couple of years working for Captain Mercer, she started to develop gravity sickness and began to slowly lose her strength since she had spent so much time away from Xelaya that her body couldn’t handle the strain of not being in its gravity anymore. She made the decision to return home and reconnect with her family. After a few years of getting her strength back she decided to pursue university study to make her father happy and she ended up getting a degree in intergalactic relations and political science. She is now doing further research and study in her field and she is trying to work towards encouraging Xelaya to get more involved in the intergalactic community.
Alara is still single, despite her parents best efforts to set her up with several romantic prospects over the years and she has gone on dates but so far she is not really interested in being in a relationship.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Before she ended up going back to Xelaya, Alara kept sporadically in touch and visited when she could but she has not left Xelaya since she returned to recover from her illness. This will be the first time that she has left Xelaya in over ten years so she has definitely lost contact with Fandom for a while.

Backstory I’ve Worked Out So Far: In the years since 2022, Margo briefly became High King Margo the Destroyer in Fillory, then found herself overthrown, and more or less went back to the regular world. After numerous adventures back home where she kept in contact and even returned to Fandom for stretches of time, Margo abruptly vanished sometime in late 2026 and wasn’t seen again, leaving Eliot to search fruitlessly for her.
She’ll be making her grand return as High King Margo the Creator at the reunion.
How Your Character Can Fit In: If your character knows Margo, or you think your character would come to know Margo, congrats: they did, and then she vanished on them. (Details can be hashed out upon request. Including anticipating on future one night stands that haven’t happened yet.)

Backstory I’ve Worked Out So Far: After dealing with some alternative baby drama that left Lucifer deeply disillusioned about his family, he cut off his family for good. A few years later, he started growing grey hairs, though he seems to remain immortal.
Once Octavia was Done With It All, all three of them moved to their marina in the Bahamas, where they remain today (occasionally moving elsewhere for a bit, when the mood strikes.).

Age at the Reunion: 50-ish
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: At some unspecified time in the future, Jon's love Martin made his way to Fandom. It was a wonderful reunion, but it reinforced in Jon's mind the monster he currently is, and he couldn't deal with it, so he found a way (and/or a person to help) to remove the Eye from him entirely.
Unfortunately, this also affected the memories he formed while under it - his memories of the time before the Magnus Institute are fine, but they get fuzzier after that, and he only really knows about the apocalypse because people have told him about it. Similarly, Fandom before he got the Eye removed is also fuzzy.
These days, it takes him a long time to learn new things and people. He carries a mini tablet around with faces of people he should know and information about them, as well as things like what he's supposed to be doing. He has difficulty staying focused on anything. He's liable to drift off mentally in the middle of a conversation and forget what he was talking about. He's just as smart as ever, and if you can get him talking about a hyperfocus of his, he can keep going for a while, but he has to set reminders every few minutes while he's cooking to remember what the next step is.
To Jon, this is a happy ending. He's has Martin and he's doing well. He still runs MHA, mostly without help, but he's given up on teaching, because it's mentally exhausting.
How Your Character Can Fit In: If you've been around Fandom, Jon will probably have you noted down. If you want to know him, you can. If there are specific things you want him to know or not know about you, let me know! If you know Jon, you will also know Martin (who is sir-not-appearing-at-this-reunion).
Oh, and if you want to have been involved in getting the Eye out of him, let me know that, too! When it happened and how are otherwise unspecified, because Jon cannot remember exactly.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Billy has basically stayed on the island for the last 20 years, not going far and not leaving for more than a month or two at the longest for some sailing and traveling. He has taught classes and workshops here and there over the years and still runs the surf shop. Hes finally caught up with tech for the most part and has a decent social media following- mostly because of porgs (aka some strange new species of penguins obviously) on surfboards going viral. Billy has done his best to move on from the past, leave the shadows behind, and get on with his life. He still thinks of Rebecca at times but he has finally gotten over her and his past and is focused on living the life that is in front of him to the best of his ability.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Billy hasn't really left Fandom so anyone who's around now can know him and anyone who has stayed, left, come back, or whatever cam say they have kept in touch if they want.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Connor stayed on the island for a few years and then went back to London to work with his team some more. Some time later, he and Abby got married and they both moved back to Fandom where they set up a permanent research center for the Anomaly Research Center US Branch. They both have been living in Fandom for some time now and with no new resurgence of anomalies to deal with they have taken up the job of being researchers, archeologists, and have been studying the plants and animals of the island and learning what makes the place tick (not a lot of progress but ya know, the island is gonna island.) They still have Rex and also have five year old twins, a boy and girl.
How Your Character Can Fit In:
Connor would have kept in touch during his time back in the UK and anyone who wants to can say they kept in touch while they were away or reconnected when Connor and Abby moved back to the island. Anyone is welcome to say they know him and that they know Abby and the kids who will be busy with 'kid stuff' that weekend and not able to attend the reunion.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Travis will have eventually headed back to Seattle, especially after hearing about the worst person he's ever worked under running for mayor. He really cannot deal with Chief Dixon being in charge of even more than his corrupt-as-hell police department, and at the
enablingencouragement of his fire family, decides to run against him.And then he wins. And is the mayor of Seattle. He does a pretty decent job at it for awhile! He even considered running for a seat on the state congress! Until the sex scandal. Which was not his fault, but sometimes you just have to resign in disgrace to keep from hurting the people you love, okay?
How Your Character Can Fit In: Travis won't actually be attending the reunion (I'm moving this weekend, and I know my brain and how much it will want to actually play anything), but you're welcome to have heard of his very public exploits and all have heard/believe a different version of events with regard to that sex scandal. (It definitely involved his mayoral candidate adversary's gay son and broke the hearts of Tremmet shippers everywhere, but the rumors that a bear was involved were entirely incorrect. Koalas aren't actually bears and he and Emmet definitely didn't steal any from the Seattle Zoo are you kidding me.)
Character Name: Duke Crocker
Age at the Reunion: 54
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Duke never went back to Haven after getting dragged back to Fandom the last time. He tried on occasion over the years, but he's always been locked out, and his worry about his friends back there has worn itself down into a gentle sort of nostalgic thing. He's accepted that the town itself probably blew up and if he'd gone back he only would have blown up with it.
He and his partners retired to the Bahamas many years ago and life has been damn good, so he really doesn't regret much.
How Your Character Can Fit In: He would have kept in touch with folks over the years, and even wandered back for the occasional visit.
Character Name: Eliot Waugh
Age at the Reunion: 47
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Much like Margo, Eliot will have spent a lot of time wandering in and out of Fandom as he went on his various canon adventures. And like Margo, he just. Stopped really coming back in 2026. Unlike Margo, he hasn't been totally radio silent, but he doesn't know where she is either and it bothers the hell out of him. He's been searching for her for more than a decade now, and while Julia and Penny and others back home have all mostly given up on eventually finding her, he hasn't. He lives and teaches at Brakebills to pay the bills and maintain his access to their body of magical scholarship, and he's in and out of recovery for alcoholism and various drug addictions, and is generally just as much of a wreck of a human being as all his fellow professors at Brakebills.
Henry keeps making noises about him becoming the next dean.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Eliot hasn't been totally incommunicado, but after coming back to Fandom shortly after Margo went missing to try to use Portalocity or the Special Collections to locate her, he hasn't bothered returning. He's bitter as hell that his favorite person in the universe is missing, along with all his other remaining close-and-not-dead-yet friends, and burned the hell out of most of his bridges anywhere but Brakebills itself.
Seriously. If you want to have an established beef with older Eliot I am so down with that.
Character Name: Rosa Ortecho
Age at the Reunion: 42
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: After graduating from MICA, Rosa gave another go at the big city art scene, but fell off the recovery wagon hard and nearly ODed. After being revived by Max Evans again, she decided she was better off sticking around New Mexico and its way more low-key art scene, and in the last 15 years has managed to make a name for herself as a large format installation artist in the southwest.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Like Travis, Rosa won't be attending the reunion. But folks are welcome to have awareness of her work and fame as an artist. Photographs of her elaborate, 40-acre painted rock mosaic of crop circles in the deserts around her home town have been circulating on the internet for ages, after all!

Age at the Reunion: 50+
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Sometime during the 2020s, Octavia ended up back in her own world, effectively going through S6/7 of The 100: there's a whole lot of drama and shenanigans (including time dilation!), but the end result is that when she got rescued back into Fandom's universe, she came back with an adult daughter called Hope (I told you, time dilation! they got separated for like a month in Octavia's personal timeline, but a lot longer in Hope's) and Hope's boyfriend Jordan. Hope and Jordan have been traveling this pre-apocalypse world ever since (while engaging in a lot of activism for the environment and general 'pls don't let this world get apocalypsed too'), while Octavia and her partners retired to the Bahamas. Octavia grows plants for many uses, teaches both gardening and self-defense to the community's kids, and quietly still wishes she lived somewhere with pine tree forests, full time.
This 50-something Octavia will also have a few small symbol tattoos on her face from her time on yet another planet, but I haven't gotten around to Photoshopping those yet.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Aside from all the time spent locked away in a distant universe, Octavia would at least have attempted to stay in touch, so hit me up.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: A few years from present time, Uly finally ended up back in his LA. He was reunited with his friends there and things were good for a hot second... and then he promptly failed to stop the apocalypse involving lizard people
because I'm taking the pessimist route to fill in the cliffhanger canon left me with. He, personally, was only saved because the multiverse bounced him across itself in the nick of time - and locked him out of his world as it presumably all burned to the ground.Ulysses ended up back in Fandom, afterwards, filling his time with shitty jobs and guilt over his friends as well as over his world. And then his beloved Illyana went missing, and, yeah.
He's a wreck, and has been one for a very long time.
How Your Character Can Fit In: Ulysses no longer lives on Fandom, choosing instead to bounce around universes, none of which feel like home, but he visits the island often. He comes to most alumni gatherings and the like, in the hopes that someone will have heard from Illy, or might have discovered some new way to try and reach either her or whatever remains of his own world. So, people are free to be aware of that/to have come into contact with him in the past about it.

Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Irene stuck it out in Fandom for about two more years, at which point enough people she cared about had left and she got restless enough that she said fuck it, she was tired of hiding, and decided to try and see if she could actually revisit her own world.
Turned out, she could not, and that was a bad idea. She lasted about one more year before her old contacts caught up with her.
How Your Character Can Fit In: If you think your character would have corresponded with Irene after she left, go nuts!
