Age at the Reunion: Dead.
Backstory I've Worked Out So Far: Irene stuck it out in Fandom for about two more years, at which point enough people she cared about had left and she got restless enough that she said fuck it, she was tired of hiding, and decided to try and see if she could actually revisit her own world.
Turned out, she could not, and that was a bad idea. She lasted about one more year before her old contacts caught up with her.
How Your Character Can Fit In: If you think your character would have corresponded with Irene after she left, go nuts! But correspondence would have tragically fallen off around 2025, after petering out slowly. No one in Fandom would have a solid confirmation of what happened to her, but it would probably be easy to guess if you knew her well enough to keep in touch.
