Brains! Storming everywhere!

So with a new application round open yeah, that's it, and not me forgetting to post this now's a good time to start brainstorming sessions to help folks get creative juices flowing.

The idea here is just that - ideas! If you have random thoughts, plot concepts, hey-wouldn't-it-be-neat-if-we, or what have you, post 'em here! Read other people's thoughts! Offer practical suggestions! Reward good ideas with naked icons! Sky's the limit!

Note: This is brainstorming only. Anything you want to use from this will still need mod approval if it's a mod approval kind of plot. Prices and participation may vary, offer not available in Tennessee.

I have some ideas of my own that I'll post later in the comments, but in case anybody needs help thinking of things to brainstorm about:

1) Are there characters you're considering apping that you'd like to think of plots for?

2) Do you have a current character who could use a new character to help with a story arc?

3) Is there anything you'd like to happen with one of your characters before the end of summer?

4) What fun things could happen in Fandom before the end of summer? Interesting? Dramatic? Wacky? Other?

You're not limited to the above as far as brainstorming goes. That's just something to get the juices flowing.

...not dirty.

So, ponder, put on your thinky caps, and storm away!

[ooc: weetiny OCD coming is up!]

hmm... in a few weeks, in theory, Ami is going to figure out finally her whole Sailor Scout thing. yay powers and memories and stuff.

i want to at some point do her Dark Mercury arc, which is in the PGSM canon. In canon Ami feels all left out and neglected and such and goes evil for a bit.

i just don't really know how to do this...

The island is actually a giant Transformer. (More than meets the eye.) Which turns into a giant spaceship.

After the next graduation, the entire island spends the summer in space. (After picking up new students of course)

Sorta been poking at a plot idea where Fandom has to deal with Lunesta(tm) type butterflies.

The butterflies come to Fandom to mate and use the dreams of Fandomites as a nursery for baby butterflies (since these are sleep butterflies after all). The butterflies themselves are harmless, no one would be physically harmed by their actions but as for what came out of people's dreams??? Well this is Fandom after all.

Was thinking that part of the mating ritual would involve people having crossover dreams, find themselves in each others' dreams and then as a climax there would be three main 'nursery' dreams, where people could either find themselves in a cracky landscape, an angsty landscape or a fighty fighty landscape with other characters (depending upon who signed up for what)

It's that whole climax bit that I keep tweeking on.

It was just a thought so that folks could have a bit more flexibility on what their character did in the climax of the plot since it would be in a dreamscape rather than "reality".

The Discovery Channel comes to Fandom High to do a documentary on Gremlins.

I blame [livejournal.com profile] dawn_bearer for both of these:

1. Gender/Generation Switch: Adults become teens, teens become middle-aged, boys turn into girls, girls turn into boys. It's chaos! (C'mon, you know you want to see Deadpool and Ares turned into teenaged girls.)

2. Fandom's Next Top Model.

I'm not really a plotter. But I like crack! Does that count?

What if the students wake up one morning to find out that they're married? To another student. The same with townies and townies. In an old TV show like setting like I love Lucy, The Honeymooners, All in the Family, Bewitched, etc etc... for a weekend? Something where they don't share the same bed or if they do, they are dressed neck to hem...yadda yadda..

I don't know. I'm totally wacked out in my thought process so I go to hide now.. heee..

Also? This might be too closely related to students having a kid together.. I just don't know.

Hee! See I was thinking something along those lines (minus the marriage) where Fandom woke up one day to find their lives turned into a sitcom complete with a laugh track.

Only I have no idea how to implement it.

I haven't made a info post on these yet but they are plots that have been approved and will be coming shortly.

June: Crazy Phone Day! Pretty much a repeat of Crowley's madness he crated last year.

July: An AU where Fandom Island is now a Senior Citizen's home instead of a highschool.

Volcano Plot: A Volcano erupts in the preserves creating additional land mass on the island.

Paper helmets are supplied to students as they try to avoid the lava flows

Later the new land mass is used to create a glitter farm. Or a new beach.

FH Reunion: The characters wake up and for one weekend they are ten years older and believe they are there for their class reunion.

I had an idea, less than a plot-- Tabula Rasa day or weekend, with everyone waking up and not knowing who they are, or anyone else for that matter. I've never figured out how to kick it off, though, or how it would end. But I think it would be fun to have characters interacting with no previous knowledge of who they're talking to, or who they are.

The potential kids from before, they can come back as adults very much like a certain spy and her parents.

Because I think we all loved those kids too damn much to let them go.

Rejected (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin_(game)) comes to Fandom. Or, more apt, Fandom becomes Rejected-ed with cracky creatures, characters as stickfigure drawings, culminating in the destruction of the very fabric (okay, paper background) of Fandom. Guest stars? Billy's Balloon.

Fandom-wide game of Assassin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin_(game)). Similar to M's class final (eliminate main target, obtain object from secondary target) but across the whole freakin' island. Can be broken down to student only, townie only, and faculty/townie/student wide. It... um... makes a great introductary post? Or something?

Something to do with bodyswapping and George Burns.

Teen Girl Sqaaaud! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teen_Girl_Squad) Cheerleader! So and So! What's Her Face! The Ugly One! ....i got nuttin, unless FH is attacked by a wave of babies. Guest Star: Strongbad with blue hair. Gotta have blue hair.

Trogdor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trogdor) the Burninator! Burninating the Fandom!

Death Takes A Holiday/Meet Joe Black. Where death learns love. And taxes.

DEATH Takes A Holiday. Where we bribe DEATH-mun with cookies to bring back the crack that is the Bone Daddy wherein he learns love. And taxes. Guest star: DEATH OF RATS.

Haiku weekend. Musical weekend. SCREAMO weekend.

...now in the right place!

Soap opera day. Everyone waking up with dramatic names like Thorne and Brandt. Bitch slapping and hair pulling and lots of people using the word tramp. Complete with lots of dramatic staring and crying. And obviously someone would have to get married and have the whole town show up only to have it be crashed by the groom's future baby-momma.

I just watched the BtVS episode Earshot again and it made me really, really, really want Dick to be able to read minds for a day or two. Because, honestly, I can't think of anyone worse to hear your deepest secrets.

Well as soon as I learn how to make a poll, I was gonna followup on my post about day trip excursions to the surrounding touristy areas.
