General Request for Plotting and Organization!

omg, guys. It's your favorite time of the new semester. That's right, it's CHARACTER ABILITY TALLY DAY, YAY!!

Okay, you could at least fake the excitement. God.

In an effort to keep things a little more organized for plottishness and so on, we're going to ask a quick favor of you all.

Could you please reply to each appropriate comment below, and let us know what kind of powers/abilities/etc your character possesses? This is for all characters - students/alumni, teachers and townies - and covers everything including especially good researching/support skills, magic, skill with weaponry, mutations and so on. This is mandatory for all characters, and we would appreciate it ASAP though there is no specific deadline.

Anything that is a canon1 power or ability of your character and could be used in a plot in some way, please list below in the correct thread. Temporary powers for specific plots do not need to be noted now.

Please be as thorough as possible, as this will help everyone out with plots and knowing who can fill what roles.

Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to do this!

(And naturally, there will be threads, so please wait for the rather long OCD or I will have to kill something Threads are up!)

1 In this instance, "canon" does refer to FH canon as well. If your character at this time has honed their fighting skills or anything like that, please do make sure to note that. For guidelines on characters picking up abilities, please see this post.

2 For those of you who had characters around last year and just want to C&P what you put in the post then, here are some shiny links. Why, yes, I did just C&P everything over. Again. I'm very lazy efficient that way omg.

Yay, messed-up DNA! I ended up writing a novel, so I'll try to cut it down to a novella...

1) Telekinesis: Charlie has fairly good but not perfect control over her moving-things-with-her-mind abilities. She can lift anything up to her own weight, and probably more than her own weight. Smaller fine motor skills are more difficult, but she's good enough to get a key in a lock, if not pick it with lockpicks. If she uses her TK for too long (say, for several hours running) she'll develop a migraine/sugar-crash headache from the effort; she's using her own body energy to manipulate things.

2) Pyrokinesis: Whoa, scary. Charlie's PK is heat-based, not ignition based. There doesn't have to be an O2 in an area for her to destroy nearly any material (metal, stone, ceramic included), given enough time/concentration. Things may not ignite, but they will still lose structural integrity as she melts them, if there's no oxygen. Her heat generation was measured at 300,000 degrees F of spot-heat eight years ago, and has increased some immeasurable, freakish amount since then.

Her ability to manipulate fire has improved significantly after three months worth of steady practice. She can now: keep her ignition of materials under control over longer periods of time; direct the flames in a particular direction (see TK above) with a medium-to-high degree of control; manipulate things telekinetically while setting fire to them (3-4 max). She *still* can't turn off a fire; she's attempted it, and experienced "feedback" that causes pain. She does not get tired while using her PK; the fire is probably being channeled from another, extra-dimensional source. What does decrease is her control-- the concentration required is the same as driving a car in heavy traffic.

Charlie killed approximately 25 people using her powers when she was eight years old. Put in a life-or-death situation, she would use them in defense of herself or others again.
