Today's forecast calls for an incoming plottiness front and an 80% chance of brains from the SKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

You know, that's kind of a . . . I can't decide if the mental image frightens or amuses me. Probably both.

I was reading through an old character journal the other day and found a plot I ran in another game and was wondering if it would work in FH.

While I wouldn't say the specific item from the plot would need to be used, it would be a hot potato plot with three groups and no external antagonists, which might be interesting.

The item in the original plot was something called the Speaking Gun from the Nightside books by Simon R. Green. The details of how it ran are here (http://community.livejournal.com/ways_back_room/2129895.html).

I'm angry at my brain because just today at work I had an idea and thought "I have to keep this in mind for the next brainstorming post". And it's gone!! *weeps and laments*

However! I love it when canon plots spill over into Fandom and involve other characters! I'd like to see more of that.

Also there's so many bad guys in Billy's canon that would love to check out Fandom.

And now I'm thinking, between Clocky and the small army of mouse droids Ben's been giving out to people, we could do something goofy with small semi-sentient mechanical things. No idea what yet, but something. (Sorry, Liir!)

I know that people have been wanting more elaborate plots that allow for everybody on the island to get involved as of late, but I can't help but notice that Fandom has been sadly without a good old-fashioned Jell-o dragons, Trolls, and Abominable Snowman shoot-em-up and smack-em-down sort of plot for a long while.

Is there any chance we could have a weekend invasion of that sort, sometime? I can't speak for other people, but I know that my fighty characters have been getting twitchy without.

OH HEY I actually do have something here.

I'm looking to adapt part of Strangers in Paradise canon for the game, but I'm having a hard time coming up with stuff since so much of it is reliant on specific canon characters as catalysts for the plotline and they're not here. If anyone's familiar with the volume 2 story arc (I Dream of You) or just interested in helping me hash this one out regardless of knowing the storyline, let me know, and I can throw together a plot filter or some such?

I have a thing that I'm thinking about doing. It's based on a canon episode of Charmed and would require some ability to time/dimension travel. Also someone on island to do some healing.

Anyone think their pup might fit the bill? It's still very rough in my head, but I'd like to try to do it before Chris graduates.

Need someone to sound the alert for a rescue as part of your plot? Lion-o has the ability to get a warning from the Sword of Omens when someone is in danger, and he also can use Sight Beyond Sight to see events going on elsewhere in real time.
