Brainstorming Post!

Apologies, apologies, apologies! We've totally flaked on this for the past couple of months. I won't speak for willbedone as far as inviting punishment, but you can make indignant noises in my direction for it if you like. *shameface*

Anyway, this is the monthly brainstorming post, and I hope this means you guys have a ton of stuff to throw into the mix today, so have at it, in the appropriate OCD thread! And they are up, so go go go!

More apologies for not replying sooner! My work likes to block this comm because it has the word LOTTERY in it. Wtf work.

Either or! Probably sprouts one all over if we wanted to bring someone who's pulling the strings of the whole thing into it (like a Jareth or an unnamed baddie).

Oh god, just woke up, but am struck with inspiration.

Well, the Goblin King could decide that with so many children/teens on the island that have been sort-of 'wished away' by their parent/guardian/other, that it means they're fair game for him, or that the island ought to be a natural extension of his realm.

Or maybe someone babysitting Jan or Grace does the actual wishing, and he decides to stick around with so many amusing people living here.

I'm sure I'll think of others as I actually wake up, but now I flee to work!

Ooh, I like that first one because it's close to the movie but changes it up enough that we're not sticking strictly to the movie canon. I could so see the Goblin King stealing a few of the students (and then doing the Dance Magic song and dance with them because I WANT THAT) while everyone else hits the labyrinth to try and get to the Goblin City.

Damn, I have to go home and watch this movie now.
