I was daydreaming at work because oh my God, there's only so many times you can listen to music written for kids and NOT go insane and thought it would be cool if the gremlins started having a civil war over something, and were biting people they wanted to fight *for* them. For example, if the entire (insert group here) is attempting to attack the other two groups because they all think they're various super-villains? Obviously going to screw up everyone's preconceived notions.

I think I kind of love that. Maybe a third side for the gremlins who don't care what's going on with the civil war, but just want to bite people because they think the school belongs to them? Or they just want to bite people. Anakin in fishnets?
