Monthly brainstorming post time! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

First the OCD... which is up! Have at it.

I have recently learned that Raven is a portal to heaven, purgatory, and the nine planes of hell.

No, seriously, she'll be standing there having a conversation with someone, and people walk out of her.

That was pretty much my reaction.

Seriously, she's standing there talking to Beast Boy when half a dozen dead Titans step out of her, followed by her not-quite-dead would-be-husband Sebastian Blood. And then he bites her.

Well that puts a different spin on Blackest Night, doesn't it?

I just had to Google that. So, dead coming to life again? That's so 2006. That's when Sebastian got hold of Kid Eternity and chained him to the gates of the afterlife and animated dead Titans to attack LA. After walking out through Raven. WTF.

Not that I'd ever volunteer to heap abuse on my girl and others by having her act as a portal to bring dead characters into game. Nuh uh.

Well technically it's zombified version of heroes. And Marvel just started the same thing with Zombie mutants coming back.

Gotta love trends.

Why is our canon universe made of crack? Why?

I DON'T KNOW OMG.

I've been picking up bits and pieces of recent canon (while Ana mocks me), and some of it just makes me look like my icon. And I am still seriously creeped out by the cover with her kneeling in front of her brothers while practically wrapped around the leg of one. OMG WTF THIS IS NOT SUPERNATURAL OR HEROES.

I don't care how hot they are, they're evil and they're her brothers and it's all WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, because she's not River Tam and dude. I just.

*flail*

'Walking out of Raven'--- how early in the day do they start drinking over at DC? *sigh*

... that said, you know you have to do this now.

But look -- I DO NOT LIE. Her right arm is up around Jared/Wrath's waist, and I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHERE HER LEFT HAND IS.

My first first guess was of course, stuck out right behind her same angle, which would account for Jared/Wrath's grin.

My second look made me think her fist was on her hip, but it's impossible to tell.... and anyway, it's not like that Kneeling Herald look is going to be any less weird if she's keeping one hand to herself, thank you!

ANYWAY, subtext is terrifying, DC, CUT THAT OUT. Jeeeeez.

I imagine there'd be a whooooooole lot of staring involved.

Do they then return by walking back through her? What if they're taller than her? Do they have to duck? Can they hang a do-not-disturb sign on her ~~boob~~ arm?

Oh lord, my crack brain just went into overdrive. KEY CARDS. THERE COULD BE KEY CARDS.

I'm not going to ask where they swipe that key card.

The possibilities are endless. And not to be discussed while I'm at work.
